Was that big flood in Nashville in 2010? My husband and I were vacationing from Canada. We went to NASCAR races in Bristol. We had plans to go to Nashville and Memphis but there was flooding. We went to Florida to visit friends.

I’m not a mall person but of course Tennessee never disappoints…..that mall I wouldn’t mind doing!!!…I’m loving this little road trip y’all are doing, y’all are more important to me more than ever..I lost my daughter 3 weeks ago and she was always the one who wanted to travel so now I’m gonna travel with y’all and I thank y’all so much for that!!😊💕😞

Love the mall but prefer rainforest cafe over aquarium. And usually we will just walk thru the aquarium. Go to the was museum and you can park at opry mills and walk to opryland hotel and ride delta flatboats!! Its beautiful at christmas! You will have to come back for ICE!!❤

It wasn't Opry Mills that got flooded out. It was Opryland Theme Park, (March, 1975) . Opryland run from 1973- 1997 with 46 million visitors Gaylode Entertainment torn down Opryland First day of 76.It was said because the city of Nashville put in monies for the area downtown. We real miss Opryland.
I loved Opryland. I have been to lots of theme parks but think it was my favorite. It had so many great music shows.
Yes the mall did flood out, i forgot what year, but i went before the flood and after. They use to have a stingray lagoon but didnt put it back after flood!!
Another great video. You guys were walking on sacred grounds. It was once the site of the long gone Opryland, USA theme park. We loved that place! I saved the pamphlets, map, & souvenirs books from there.

I loved Opryland too! All the venues each with their own style of music. A lot of talent there!!

When I was in Nashville Opryland Park stood where that Mall is. It looks like they things in that mall that you can't find anywhere else. I would love to see Dawn get her feet eaten by those fish. 🤗🐟🐠 you guys are so much fun!! Loved you two at the cotton candy machine. What a neat and interesting place to have lunch. It looks really cool. I would enjoy eating there.
Back in the 90s it was Opryland USA Theme Park. I worked there for 6 months in 1995. There and Orpyland Hotel too.

We went to Opry Mills quite a few times in the years we lived in middle TN. We lived in Cheatham County just north of Nashville for years. Yeah the flood was in May 2010. The Cumberland River flooded and the Harpeth River. We were living up the hill in Ashland City so we were fortunate our home wasn’t affected but our small town got some flooding near the Cumberland River. Thanks for sharing!

great video Will and Dawn! been a while since I have been to that mall...if i am in Nashville i am usually just passing through to the Smokies. Would have loved to see the fish eat Dawns feet! Do you have Shrek feet Will? lol Is there still a music instrument store there? maybe Gibson? Also did you guys get your Smokies parking tag? i ordered my annual pass online, had to pre order as they were out! keep the great videos coming!! be done in the Smokies next week to sign for my apartment at the Villas!

My daughter and I eat ate at the aquarium restaurant in 2017 what we ordered wasn’t any good. But we enjoyed the views.
You can park in parking lot n walk to opryland hotel n not have to pay to park at hotel. We go all the time!! If y have time take a General Jackson showboat show and i love the wax museum. Also dont forget Paula Deens right next to mall. And The Parthenon is def must see!

I was here for my 17th birthday just about awhile after y'all made this vlog and I had fun! I always like going there occasionally, especially to the Lego store ;) Glad y'all were able to visit the Opry Mills and experience it :D

I’m dying to take a trip to Tennesse some day. I really want to go to Nashville Zoo, Tennessee Aquarium, Dollywood, Graceland, and a Nashville Predators game (plus Opry Mills if I wanted to do some shopping lol)

Solorazanos pizzeria at 204 Pine Mt. Dr. in Pigion Forge is the best pizza in town!! It's a small place but the taste is gigantic!! You really need to try it guys!!

This mall looks so cool! I remember hearing about where the mall is, there used to be a theme park called opera land USA. Never been there but seen a video of the theme park. Scott and I love going to all the different types of malls. We will definitely have to stop here when ever we are in town. I love it Will I always tell Scott I am just gonna look and then 30 mintues later I buy something. 🤣 The food and restaurant look pretty cool inside. Happy Valentine's guys! ❤️

I can't believe we missed yall by 1 day. We had dinner at the Opry hotel in the Old Hickory steakhouse and then walked to the mall. The Old hickory steakhouse is pricey but it was our Valentine's dinner. It was worth it.

It closes at 5. We wanted to eat at the Aquarium. Got there at 4:50. The whole Mall closes early. At least they did two years ago

The Jack Daniel restaurant is in the Opryland hotel, was there Christmas.

I really enjoyed your video, and seeing the restaurant in the middle of an aquarium. Dawn, I’m like you, a big Vera Bradley fan. I’ve never been in one of the stores but I admire their beautiful purses online. As for the fish that give “pedicures “ - I think I’ll pass on that!😂

I live down the road off of briley park way that flood was bad I on a hill top area murfreesboro rd was shut down briley was shut down I didn't go no where I was stock up on goods at home
Stop by Dickson TN and go to zanders pizza. You won't regret it.
they should have a hotel in Chicago that has aquariums in the rooms that way you can sleep w/ the fishes.

Now you are in my shopping mall!! When they tore Opryland down to build that mall my first thought was "Are they crazy!! Opryland flooded several times and sure enough!!!!❤️
