What I find hilarious is these tabloid newspapers etc that are owned by the same people are basically just creating an arena where they fight themselves for clicks by constantly upping the clickbaity-ness of their articles. Which then makes their competitors (again, owned by the same people) up their clickbaity-ness and so on. Almost like watching a dog chasing it's own tail constantly trying to bite it and making it worse.
