Yeah I don't recommend unplugging your input while the amp is on. That's a great way to ruin your speakers and pots.

Thats nonsense, you shouldnt uplug the guitar end, the amp end is completely safe.

i promise you it will not hurt the amp to unplug the cable from the input.
