“For example, Po-Boy Bayou introduces the corpse mechanic in its most basic form in the second room, where you have to surf a corpse across a water current. This teaches the player the basic interaction between corpses and rushing water, which each subsequent room then continues to build upon, increasing the complexity over time. Gimmick Spam does not allow for this, because if you are constantly introducing new gimmicks, you don’t have the room to gradually teach the player the mechanic layer by layer. It's like trying to make 50 lasagnas but only having enough ingredients to make one, you’ll technically have 50 lasagnas, but they’ll be 50 very underwhelming, shallow lasagnas.”

"Gimmick Spam also makes it so that when gimmicks are introduced, they often are in their most difficult form because there is no room to gradually teach the player their functionality. One may point to TCTOP (The Crumbling Tower of Pizza) as an example of Gimmick Spam, but it only works in that level because the entirety of Pizza Tower is that level’s Gimmick Lasagna. Also, it’s important to keep in note the way human memory works. The human brain can generally keep track of three things at a time, so it’s a good idea to keep the amount of individual gimmicks used in your level at or around three. This is not a hard rule however, so I’d only really start worrying if your level has five gimmicks or more. Also, not every room needs to utilize every gimmick at once. If your level has multiple gimmicks, it can be helpful to alternate between them room by room when teaching them. You can start combining them later on in the level or during the escape sequence after they’ve been sufficiently taught to the player.
Finally, having too many gimmicks is bad for the theming of a level, as many of the gimmicks have a visual element to them that can often clash with theming of your level. For example, it wouldn’t make sense to have the rocket powerup in a level that looks identical to Pizzascape."

Not sure where else to put this soooo.. Here goes, hopefully someone else can figure out what to do with this blasted thing. If you go into the hallway at the back of the credits room and run up the wall at the very back, you'll find a secret key. I cannot for the life of me figure out where it goes or what it does. Yes, I tried the elevator door. But unless I'm missing something obvious. I'm stumped.
If nobody else can find out where it goes, then I gotta ask...
