The Digital Zoom camera, or some photographers call it Tele-Lens camera.
I have seen my friend use the digital zoom camera to give an amazing Depth-of-field effect on a hill top and the backdrop provided an amazing blur.
And looking at his footage, I guess the digital zoom camera can definitely be useful for outdoor or landscape footage.
But still, 100% agree with you that it is not worth the price, YET.

I think instead of getting Mavic 3 I would rather invest in Mavic air 2 and Dji FPV both for the experience.
