LOL I WOULD HAVE BEEN OVER THE MOON IF THAT WAS MY FIRST CAR LOL.I HAD A 76 FORD GRENADA AND IN THE EARLY 90S WHEN I WAS IN HIGH SCHOOL I WANTED A FOX MUSTANG GT AND YES BACK IN 95 I BOUGHT MY 87 TOP MUSTANG GT AND YES I STILL HAVE MY 87 AND FOR MY 3RD CAR I BOUGHT MY 87 MUSTANG GT.
LOL I AM CURIOUS HOW MANY MILES AND WHAT DID YOU PAY LOL IF I HAD A 3RD FOX IT WOULD HAVE TO BE A STICK.

I vote No on lower. I like the rear height slightly higher than the front. Beautiful first car. Brings back memories to my high school days. I had one then.

Very cool at 17 years old for my very first high school car I got a crazy deal on a 1984 fox body 5.0 with a 5 speed. I still have it almost 10years later. Enjoy your car what an awesome experience to experience

Had that on my 89 GT at one point, great combo!
Lower is a must also flow master exhaust and long tubes 👍

That’s how you know you love your kids bro I had to go get my first fox miles away by myself not knowing anything it’s now reliable after all the work nothing like knowing your fox can take you where you need to go and back home

I bought my first and only 1984 GT fox in 1987, when I was 19 and you know one of the first questions I get asked when I see an old friend that I haven't seen is "do you still have that awesome mustang you had WAY back in the day and I am blessed to say "I sure do". I took a loan out to buy the car and I was still short $250 and had to meet up with the seller a couple weeks later to pay him back. It was the first car my son, Jake drove after getting his learner's permit and he bucked it in first gear up the road. He loved Fords and always told his younger sister he was getting the Mustang. We lost Jake in a car accident in 2011 and the car is a tribute to Jake. It just so happens to be a black T-Top car. Your daughter will be able to enjoy the car with you and that is a wonderful gift. Wow talk about a super clean cherry of a find! Lucky girl. My first stang was a black with grey interior T-top 87 LX hatch (5 spd of course) with about 30k miles on it… I was 16 and also paid for it on my own, but that was about 30 years ago!! It was born stock except for 16” pony wheels but I quickly nodded the heck out of it. I say keep the cobra reps and lower it for sure!

In 2023 not many can say there first car was a foxbody. In 2006 when I was in high-school alot of people had fox's as first cars. Definitely a clean 4 eye
That's cool, they were all too expensive when I was a teenager, but 2006 sounds about right for when they were cheap but still decent shape

@@GearHead704 Yes sir! I’m 40 so I’ve been driving one since they were new. It has always been overlooked but the 4.6 2V has been super reliable for me. I’m starting to see younger kids now driving them. It’s getting harder to find a clean new edge hard top with v8 and manual transmission.

Its a 4x4, need to drop it. The Ford sprIngs don't slam the car, its tasteful. You taught her well. My son loves rhe 94-95 SN95's. I have Procharged 2020GT so we are a Mustang family too.

stock ride height is sweet on the fox's .... personally, i dont like scrapping the k member on every road around town...lol....i would make it more reliable with a carb swap ..but that's just me man ...carb over efi because i can make a carbed car run if it breaks down on the side of the road ....efi, especially speed density sucks when sensors go out on the side of the road. but WOW!!!! that's a gem man ....stock and looks that good ......such a amazing fox!!!!! deserves to be a museum piece ....lol.... the untouched stock cars like that are so awesome to me .... thanks for showing it off!!

It will definitely look better. Handle better, but it will ride a little stiffer. Just dropped mine 1 inch and I love it!

Leave it stock just add a radio but keep the old one wheels of course and ceramic coated immediately

Also fix that bypass, it is kinked and will cause heating issue if driven like that for more than 30-40 miles at a time.

I ALWAYS WANTED TO INSTALL A TRICK FLOW MANIFOLD TWISTED WEDGE HEADS SUPER CHARGE IT , AND T MEC TRANS. @GearHead704 I hope to have the convertible done by foxtober fest. That's the one I've always wanted to go to. I figure that's one you will attend bc your friends put that one on. If you know someone who has a nose for a 83 to 86 car let me know or a header pannel for one bc that's what I really need I have the nose I want just needs a header pannel.
I didn't mind my ride height at first but now I definitely want it lowered. In fact I'm cutting springs tomorrow LOL.
