That's actually not entirely true. IU is currently the best female soloist. Taeyeon will need more top hits, releases, and stage performances before she can get on IU's level. But without a doubt there isn't anyone else near Taeyeon's presence who can compete with her, not including IU.
With enough consistency, Taeyeon will easily reach that peak where IU sits atop. So many good hits like "Why" and "Weekend."

Someone need to give the stylist a award for these kind of outfits (stages and in the MV). Obviously Taeyeon looks great in everything but this comeback is just another level with the outfits.

Also the makeup is so good. I bet a ton of beauty/makeup related influencer (I am not what the technical term is) are going to cover it. Especially that tear drop makeup in the mv.
absolutely this song is such an all rounder. Im usually hit or miss with Taeyeon so I didnt expect to like this much, but this is just such an amazing job on all levels from everyone involved. Everything from the styling, MV, music, make up, dance, her singing, her lover register, she doesnt need to flex her high notes, just feels like breath of fresh air right now.

Echoing what a lot of people are saying -- the choreography is INSANE. So much attention to detail from the way it creates a scene/picture (i.e. the arrow that "goes through" taeyeon), to even the part where the dancers seem like an extension of Taeyeon (i.e. the part where they create a line and mimic taeyeon's fluid movements). I wouldn't even call them backup dancers at this point. I am in AWE
