Sorority - New Zealand | Varsity Division Finalist at Hip Hop International's 2015 World Hip Hop Dance Championship. Over 300 crews representing almost 50 nations participated in the events held on August 4 - 9 at Harrah's Resort Southern California and Viejas Arena at San Diego State University with over 6,000 in attendance.

+Aleksandra Zurik Parris runs The Palace and generally choreographs the Megacrew division but Sorority was Kiel Tutin's crew and he choreograohed this whole set. Along with Kaea helping w/ the choreo for Duchesses and Kyra doing the choreo for Bubblegum.

For other crews dancehall just seems like an afterthought.
For the royal family crews dancehall is supreme. The dancehall section for this routine will be the best ever performed in hhi next to duchesses last year and sorority the year before.

can we appreciate the blocking of this routine??? I swear i mentioned this before in their own channel, but the way they transition is SO FUCKING SICK. like every transition is so clean and so creative. For example 00:17 to 00:38 is prob one of my fave sequence of transitions. this is something that Parris and the Palace are so good at doing; making one of these bad ass bitches pop outta nowhere in any routine they do

How did this not medal or place at all? It's the best routine I've seen OVERALL from any level. That speaks volumes about this dance. The technique, the attitude...I could watch this over and over again. What happened with the judges???

I just don't understand how this didn't place. JB Star Varsity got bronze by scoring .01 higher than sorority. And even after watching their performance I'm still shocked that the judges put sorority below them. Japan is so basic. Their changes in style are barely noticeable. Although they're very clean, sorority had many different styles with good transitions, cleanness, and AMAZING emotions and choreography. JB Star used two songs. The judges need to get their heads out of the gutter and start placing royal family crews where they should be instead of being so harsh to them just because they're clearly the best in the world.

well you need to cover 3 dance styles in hhi. They have three and they are all on point so they should have placed better. Stuff like Waacking and Popping are considered foundation by hhi.
This team and prophecy from the USA was the best teams that I watched. They were original in dance style (no popular dance moves included), great use of music, and operated with strong procession. xx
