      I am ready to build my house in Mexico with this material ( Jalisco). By watching all the videos from the company ( in Spanish, which, furthermore helps me learning Spanish 😂), it sounds pretty easy to build it. My main concern, as I am in the countryside and off grid, is to find a team at least to follow the (mine) instructions. I will contact the company soon to ask for referring me to contractors.

    Its better to place rebar(starter bar outside the panel, outside the wire mesh, because if you place the rebar beside the styrofore, once there's an earthquake it will make the wall unstable because the concrete didnt grip the starter bar tightly because of the styrofore...

    • @alexirvine3214
      @alexirvine3214 Před rokem +4

      They torched the foam around the starter bars so it’s fully encapsulated by the concrete and a structural connection. Placing the rebar on the outside of mesh would be easier to install no doubt but then mortar has to be much thicker to cover outside rebars (1/2” rebar plus 1-1/2” concrete = extra 2” of concrete/mortar on entire wall. Versus just a little bit of extra concrete where foam was burned out

    • @MarcusBlackburn
      @MarcusBlackburn Před 8 měsíci

      Thanks for your questions. The pneumatic connection is faster and stronger than tying wire. This does not change the final strength of the building, but is useful to keep the wall straight during the construction process. The size of the rebar is dependent on the height of the wall and determined by the engineer.

      Debido a que este sistema tiene 2 pulgadas de concreto en cada lado, no necesita encontrar un poste en la pared para colocar gabinetes, televisores, cuadros o cualquier otro objeto. Se pueden colocar en cualquier lugar directamente en el concreto y serán más seguros que si se colocan en la madera.
