- Beaver ponds, can I say any more? They produce big, big, big, trout! So glad to have experienced this day. I hope you all enjoy this video!
In respect of local anglers I do NOT name any river/stream that I fish. Please respect my "no-name" policy and do NOT post the names of any spots in the comments. Thank you for understanding!

Awesome fish and scenery. Nice job
@scottblock6832 Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it.
I sure enjoyed this video! When I was a kid growing up in Rice Lake Wisconsin I fished a lot. My favorite show was on Sunday nights The Lucky 13 Fishing show. Think it was based out of Eau Claire. I didn't fish much for trout back then. This video brought back some great memories. I received the email information about your guided fishing package and so hoping my son will be game to spend a day fishing with you this summer or fall.
@tanjarott7535 I am so glad you enjoyed it. I had a ton of fun out there! :)
Benjamin! You’re becoming quite the trout angler! Very well done. I’m guessing that bigger one was at least 16 but could’ve been more. Tough to judge w/camera angles.
@markmakela7364 I don't know for sure but I would guess you are right. I think they were both over 15. They were huge (for me!).
Couple dandy brookies, congrats
@loganoutdoors9730 Thank you. They were stunners for sure.
Dude those are some darned nice brookies man nice work! You ever try jerk baits when water tempted are a little low for spinners?
@ericwakeman6665 I have tried rapalas but I really dislike the double trebles. I think maybe I have caught one brookie like that.
Im headed up to the UP next week looking for some good spots for pike smallies and trout got any suggestions
@JJski720 Hi, JJski. Thanks for reaching out, however, unfortunately, I don't give out any spots on the internet because I want to respect the local anglers that already fish those spots. My suggestion would be though to try any spots that have less human footprint to them. I do my best away from people.
Okay thank you for the tip I'm up here rn not having any luck
@JJski720 Storms and high water are being weird right now. I'd try ponds/lakes for now.
Yeah I just got home to the lower peninsula, I didn't catch much up there but still had a good time. I saw some guy at a bar that looked like you but I wasn't sure enought to go ask lol
@JJski720 It definitely wasn't me as I don't go to any bars. But it might have been funny if you had. All good! :)
