@@valiwanne3119 I bought a shark because it was one of the few that has a completely sealed system. After having a Hyla for 14 years, trust me.

They aren’t for everyone. Hyla, Rainbow, etc those “water vacs” are a lot of work to use as a main vacuum but in my experience, they do work very well for allergies and last a very, very long time. But, they aren’t the only vacs on the market that filter really well. Miele C3 vacs filter the absolute best out of any vacuum from any brand or model. That’s what I’m currently using. I have a Shark Vertex as well, but tend to prefer my Miele for a variety of reasons.

I think at the shark’s price point, there are no other sealed system vacuums. Dyson claims to be sealed but in Vacuum Wars’ CZcams channel video, the upright Dyson’s fail the industry standard “fog” test. He sucks fog up into the machine and it blows out from the gaskets and seals in the machine. The Shark Vertex passed with no faults. That’s a big deal!
