I was always told the stirrup should be on the ball of your foot. But this doesn’t seem to apply in the reigning situation. Does it matter where your foot is in the stirrup and raining?
Stirrup on the ball of your foot is a good “ rule of thumb “. Depends on your experience level. I’ve spent more time riding than walking! 😂. Throughout the day I sometimes change my foot position based on comfort.
Quick question: I noticed this in pretty much every video, is there a specific reason there is only a wrap on the left front knee? Awesome job with these guys though for sure!
Maybe the most fun horse training videos I've seen in a while.

Can I ask a question for Matt....It seems the reiners run with shorter stirrups? They look like they should go down a hole?
hrsnrnd10 usually it looks shorter because your legs are back as you lean forward. It depends on what length is comfortable for you

what does it mean to "bridle" the horse? I've only ridden English and we don't say that, so I'm wondering :-)
Just talking about the act of asking for “ collection or flexion “ at the poll or neck.

Yea. So those boots have padding all the way around, so it protects while spinning both directions.
