- This is our first Bird Of Prey rescue video and I am so happy I got to be there for the rescue, visit her during the rehabilitation, and all the way to the releasing back to the wild!
The American kestrel is the smallest and most common falcon in North America and I actually never got to meet one until that day - I didn't even know what she was, but our friends on Instagram knew to help me out with that: / hopeforpawsrescue
I am so happy that one of our supporters sent us the special gloves for handling birds of prey... it's like they knew I would need those one day :-)
To join our team with a small donation, please visit our website: www.HopeForPaws.org
Special thanks to South Bay Wildlife Rehab for fostering this baby, for training her on how to survive in the wild, and for inviting me to visit every step of the way. To learn more about their work, please visit www.SBWR.org
Thank you so much for sharing our videos!

I have said it many times. Hope for paws is one very small group charities that I feel confident donating to. Can see that they use the money donated to help these animals. All animals. The whole team is amazing.
Yes! Couldn't agree more! They are an awsome bunch of people!
Apparently a lot of people find them approachable and helpful too. These guys called a primarily dog-cat rescue group instead of other more appropriate groups. They've probably heard of how responsive Hope for Paws has been beforehand.
I don’t have a bank account but I wish I could donate

Thank you for helping to save the ''wild ones''. Cecile...wildlife rescue/rehab/Australia.
I cared for one these birds when I was a young falconer. It's distress calls brought me to instant tears. God bless those who rescue and protect these magnificent creatures. Raptor's are a definite necessity in the food chain.
Bless the ladies who rehabilitate these beautiful creatures.
I love your work am a pet lover am from Jamaica I wish I could donate but it said I can't cause if my region
Yes 😞
Thank you! Not only for rescuing this beautiful girl, but for the smile on my face getting to see her fly away!!
Barn owls are so serene and mystical, all the other owls look like angry crackheads lmao
Lmao you right
Screech owls can sound like werewolves up close. They are about the size of a large grapefruit.
I agree, but I’m mesmerized by all owls. They’re so unique looking and beautiful to me! From the most mystical to most angry crackheaded looking ones! 🤣
@@brittanykarlek4973 Barred Owls are the best sounding by far. Their vocalizations are amazing.
FIELDING MELISH I was just referring to looks, but I don’t think I’ve ever compared barn owl sounds to the others
Shout out to the staff who took the time, trapped the bird and saved its life! Need more people like this in the world.
That is so amazing. She went from a young bird with no strength in her wings to an adult bird with strong wings. Look at how fast she went! I love you guys! Thank you so much!
Poor thing so scared. Thank you Eldad. Please donate Hope for Paws so they can keep saving these beautiful animals.
She's a beautiful American kestrel 🦅 Thank you for rescuing her and being there when she was released back into the wild where she belongs!!
Poor baby was so scared! Wonderful people that collected her and then called you. Thank you Hope for Paws for doing what you do. Hero's
I’m from the South Bay , Palos Verdes originally. I’ve never known about them. This was beautiful and brought tears. Bless you all.
Hey Eldad, thank you so much for what you and your team are doing for lost and injured animals. Without you guys there would be a lot more suffering animals than there already are in the world - thank you so much!
We all should care and love our innocent animals
And each other.
Birds are very special!! I saved a bird once, he couldn't fly he had a hurt wing so I took him in the house I wrapprd his wing with an ace bandage and took care of him, then about 5 days later I took his wrap off him, took him outside to see how he would do, I felt as though he was ready so we were outside, he wanted to go so I took him in my hands, then I said you ready, he looked at me to say I'm ready and I tossed him lightly to the sky!! He was ready cause he flew away!! The sad part was that I never saw him again, but I was the one that made it happen, for him to Fly again!! That story I will never forget!! Hope 4 Paws, I thank you for bringing me back about Birds and how Special they really are!! USA!!😇🙏🐦✌
Shes beautiful, thanks to the kindness of ppl noticing and helping these animals. From the man who found her, to Eldad, to the rescues. ❤
i know rescues of wild animals don‘t get as many views as the ones with dogs - but this is such a wonderful story! to see her fly free at the end made me so happy! ♥️
That bird sounding so scared at first tugged at my heartstrings. Even birds of prey look so serene when you nurse them back to health!
All the birds in the rescue are so beautiful and precious. Thank you for helping this little one...yes, I'm sure I heard her say "thank you" as she flew off.
I love how y’all save other animals too, not just dogs and cats. Amazing!!
Santuário e lindo💖💖💖
Mara Sodré no habla español
@@ceciliahammond320 desculpa. Mas não falo espanhol😳
Mara Sodré I have no idea what you are saying bro 😂 I’ll use google translate. I used my Mexican background to type the first thing but that’s as far as I can go lol
Mara Sodré if you don’t speak Spanish how are you saying this 😭😭
Eldad, I'm so relieved you are fine and started rescuing unfortunate animals in this video. I guess your overwork made you ill. I'm so happy the injured bird of prey recovered and returned in the wild. You're really amazing!
Thank you for saving this beautiful creature! God bless 🙏💕
Oh my, I get so emotional watching this baby !!! She looks SO scared at first. The end is wonderful.
Wow everyone of these birds are beautiful. Thanks to the HFP team and this wonderful woman for rescuing and releasing these feathered friends 🐣🥰
Those birds are so cool! Great work on the rescue, Eldad! 🤩
So glad she was rescued. Birds are so delicate. I own birds and some injuries are fatal. It takes special people to care for birds. Thanks
The American kestrel, what a beautiful little creature! In fact, all the birds are fascinating in their uniqueness. Thank you, HFP, and thank you, SBWR for helping all these creatures. They enrich our natural landscape and our life on earth.
The baby! I love birds so much. He’s so cute and scared. She needs to be taken care of and she was. These are good people.
thank u for rescuing this beautiful bird!! and the place for the birds is amazing!! Super!!
Love seeing her finally healthy and flying away, enjoying her freedom.
So glad you had the gloves, even a little kestrel like that can do a LOT of damage.
Yeah, when I first saw him with just exam type gloves I was like, "no, do not stick your hand in that box." Good thing he had the appropriate gloves.
And the woman handle her with no gloves lol
Hi Eldad, Beatrice Davids from Cape Town South Africa here, finally I can comment on your excellent rescues of any animal that's in distress and need your loving care and your co- rescuers, especially Loreta, what a beautiful soul!! Thank you so much for the work you are doing😘wish we had something like Hope for Paws in South Africa 🤔
I love seeing birds of prey rehabilitated and released back into the wild.
It was wonderful to see all of the different birds at the wildlife refuge. I would never have had that opportunity otherwise! 💜💜💜
She looks so scared, I want to just say this is the best thing to happen to help you. Eldad will get you somewhere safe and fixed up.fly well pretty girl.
She was thanking you. She is in her place now wild and free!!! Thank you for helping her. Both the rehab and hope for paws!!
Thank you for rescuing wild animals also.
This stations need our help too.
We have a lot of hawks in this area but have never seen a kestrel.
Thank you for rescuing it.
A beautiful baby.
It's so good to see you working with other association to save other types of animals as well. Great work!
it's a BABY!! she's BEAUTIFUL!!
always something interesting adventure, dear Eldad
In tears .....again😥 God bless to all nature!!
I am sure she said "Thank you!" What a beautiful rescue story!!
God bless those, who with their love, rescue and help the innocents.
Whoever disliked this I don’t even want to talk to you how can you dislike something as heart warming and amazing as this video 🥰
They are all evil.
maybe it was because of the corny "i think it was saying 'thank you'" at the end
@@Stringbats still a garbage reason to dislike
I dream a bird but she is a Ghost
I'm sitting here bawling . Hopefully I'm not the only one. So pure and so lovely.
So beautiful to see so many birds being helped. She is gorgeous!! I'm glad she could be released!!
American Kestrels are amazing and beautiful. Eldad referred to it as a baby but in reality it was just a young adult. They are the smallest of all the Raptors. That's as big as they get.
SO glad places like this exist, majestic is the only word I can think of watching these beautiful creatures
I started crying when u were showing all the other birds around the rehabilitation center. Theyre all just so beautiful, this earth and all the animals on it are so beautiful, i wish humans would respect nature and animals more and take care of them like u guys do. The world would be a lot better place.
I also love her call at the end after she was released 😭❤.
Not only am I a dog walker but my hobby is photographing Wildlife in Scotland, and raptors are a favourite for me so I really enjoyed watching this rescue.
Ahhh, yes .... an American Kestrel. Beautiful rescue story. Love them 💕
Absolutely incredible. All these people are heros. Thank you to all those who love, respect and care for all animals. ✨🙏✨♥️✨
Oh those birds were all so pretty, but that barn owl! OMG, he was majestic! I loved his, “Nonononono!” And you knew he was not kidding around. Thank you to all those who work so hard to save them all.
Freedom is powerful! It is always amazing to see those first few seconds of renewed freedom.
I'm wiping away the happy tears. I pray she lives a long, healthy, and happy life!! Beautiful video. 💙💙💙
Beautiful American Kestrel Bird and she speaks her mind, doesn't she. These ladies i admire.
I just love Owls. They are one of my two favorite wild animals. Birds are stunning, magical, incredible, majestic creatures and I could watch videos on them all day. ❤️
This was beautiful. It was like she was saying thank you....Thank you Eldad..
What a beautiful bird. There is something so magical and majestic about birds. Thank you for taking us on a virtual tour of the sanctuary.
Wonderful men who secured her. Gorgeous bird. So scared, so expressive.
My favorite rescues are wildlife rescues! I love them all but wildlife have a special place in my heart! I really would like to somehow become a part of wildlife rescues I just don't know how to go about it. Love you guys for helping ALL animals no matter what.
Of course she’s thanking you each and everyone who gave her a future that’s amazing beautiful thank you 🙏🏻
Thank you for saving her, very beautiful ...
God bless to all of you..🙏🙏🙏👍👍❤❤❤❤
Heaven bless all the rescuers and veterinarians involved in saving the lives of animals across the globe.
Also, the intro for this video is absolutely epic.
What a perfect expression of horror and fear. She looks how I feel these days! Poor little thing. What an amazing and beautiful little bird. Birds of prey and a whole other level of cool. Thank you for taking care of her.
I LOVE ALL ANIMALS. Birds of prey are one of my favorites!! All owls are beautiful! Vultures are the top of that list of favorites!
Great to see you branching out into animals you don't regularly rescue.
Such a beautiful bird. That goes the same to the ither birds. They're all majestic
❣️❣️❣️👍🤗🤗🤗🤗🇦🇷 Argentina ciudad de Quilmes
Mouse hunting school. Lol. I love it. Thank you Eldad for rescuing whoever needs to be. You amaze me
The bird and the owl, oh my gosh! So beautiful.
Thank you for all you do. I donate a little every month, but I wish the world wasn’t sick, and I could give more ❤️✨
I worked in Torrance, and coworkers on a walk found a hawk on the sidewalk of a busy street. I captured it, thinking it was hurt or sick. I took him back to my office and called wildlife rescue. They suggested he was fine, he was a *brancher* and his parents were probably nearby. There is a large hawk's nest in a tree on that busy street. So they said, bring it back, see if you can get him up on a branch nearby, and he will be fine. Much bigger than this critter!
oh my God, how beautiful 🥰❤! Me and my 9 cats live very rural her in Germany... and it is great!!! I have seen raccoons, martens, foxes, deers, kestrels etc etc and I love it!!!! I love all animals (except ticks, mosquitoes, bugs and some other insects)... and it always is great to watch the kestrels circle in the sky 🥰❤ - thank you so much for saving that beautiful girl 🥰❤
She said “thank you”💖💖👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
That “barn owl” isn’t a bird dude thats a forest spirit
Lana Banana you could have said it nicer-
They're super cool birbs though.
@Dean Bennett Thats not true. The Holy Spirit is the "aliens".
To be fair, the Spirit can be with an owl. So the Spirit can come and go and the owl may remain.
Totally my spirit animal or bird
Thank you to all who rescue and release animals ♥️♥️
Beautiful birds. I love owls, the way they look and sound. Bless you for your work to rescue and restore all the beautiful animals.
That was wonderful. I was in tears with get beautiful "thank you."❤🧡💛💚💙💜
What a beautiful place. And what a wonderful rescue. Owls are gorgeous creatures! :-) Thank you all for your great work!
Every baby, watching their rescue video saying, Why was I scared theses humans are my savior
aww she had a lot to say
Amazing and beautiful. I love to see them released back to the wild. Great job everyone!
That place is amazing!! Really neat to see that many predatory birds in one place.
多謝你們嘅愛心!(Thank you)👍🙏🥰
The barn owl.
One of my favorite birds.
Beautiful.
I rescued a juvenile red-tail hawk off of a mountain in Flagstaff Arizona and it was one of the most rewarding experiences out of all of my rescues. Somehow it gotten a broken wing.
catcatcat
I got teared eyes at the end, such a beautiful video
So sweet. Had me in tears. THANK YOU FOR ALL THAT YOU DO!!!
I’m glad this bird is healthy.
They released this bird into wild survival.
I hope this bird will be survive for long time. If bird remember about the staff, bird might be back to the shelter again!
Y’all never know, huh? 🐦🦉🕊
No, the point if for them to live in the wild away from us, the rescuers were just a step on the road and they are happy with that, I bet.
What a such wonderful story, thanks to you, Eldad, to good samaritans in the factory who called you and obviously to the ladies who are angels with wild birds too. I hope they will be helped and have some donations for their very good work. Thank you all of you🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you all for saving her 🙏🥰
I used to live in a house with large windows and ever since I was a kid any time a bird would hit one and be stunned we’d take care of it until it flew away ❤️
That’s really nice
• Maliha • I cared about a lot of very small things as a child lol

Aww so sweet
@@Hannah-zw9ow same XD I would be sad to throw a bag away Heh
Thanks peeps amazing rescuers ❤️🐶😸🦅
What a beautiful bird - wow. Thanks for saving her.
I love birds and years ago nursed a few back to health. Nothing feels better than when you release them and they fly...fly...fly.
There is always something so touching and wonderful when you see an animal, any animal, that gets to be released after being sick, injured, abused or abandoned ...just that beautiful feeling of freedom, such a great payoff for the hard, loving work these special people do to rehabilitate these animals (it takes months, sometimes years of dedication, struggles, setbacks and small victories) ...
This release brought tears to my eyes..a flying beautiful bird in the sky,her cry of joy ...respect life always,in every shape, size or form...and of course thank you to Paws for hope and the bird shelter for their wonderful job..👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Спасибо дорогие друзья.
That was so beautiful to see her take off like that. I love all birds.
Nothing better than seeing wildlife being released.
