@@napperforlife2020 Obviously I know about Long Island. However, New York City is a massive city and there’s pop up shops, interactive exhibits, quaint towns, hidden events that are always happening here. That’s why tik toks, IG accts etc exist to guide New Yorkers on new fun things to do.
Judging by your comment, you’re clearly not a New Yorker. But if you lived here, you’d understand that it helps to have guides because you can live your entire life here and still miss out on all the city has to offer because of how much there is to do. Do some research and let me know if you think you can explore all that there is in NYC in your lifetime.
@napperforlife I agree with @JanaeAnaise. I’m a fellow New Yorker and New York is such a big city it’s hard to discover everything. New York is the city that never sleeps for a reason, always something new happening day and night, you would know this if you were a New Yorker.

I love watching you do things on your own (day trips, exploring the city, even just living on your own). Being that independent gives me anxiety, I tend to ALWAYS do things with someone else. I find it really encouraging watching you successfully do things on your own, while also enjoying yourself so much!!! Please make the solo day trips a series, I’m loving it!❤️
trust me, it gives me anxiety to do it too. 10/10 times before I'm about to embark on a solo journey, I sit and freak out about it the day before & wonder if I should even do it. BUT I learn something new every time & do it, have fun, and gain confidence (!!!) so I'm trying to keep doing it :)

As someone who’s lived on the Island for my whole life it’s kinda crazy how I’m just now seeing what the Hamptons look like. I always hear about it and have a few friends of mine who go out there but I’ve never been myself.
I also think if you’re planning on going on another solo trip definitely go to Fire Island 👌🏾

you should definitely do that as like a once a month thing. I live in Ohio and I'm like not even an hour away from lake Erie. sometimes my friend and I will go up there and spend some time there. definitely one of our favorite spots

I am a Real One! I just saw your sweet sweet Grandma today and she reminded me about your videos. I am from NY and grew up in the Hudson Valley. You would LOVE IT UP THERE! Amtrak to Rhinecliff which is where you get off for Rhinebeck!!! Especially in the fall. It is an amazing town!!! Your grandma loves you! 🥰

I really love how you went by yourself. Especially because it seemed so fun! Really inspirational, since there are so many places I want to go to but my friends and family don`t, so yes keep doing the series please.
I have family that lives in South Hampton and I love visiting and going to the beaches there, its so beautiful! My grandma LOVES pointing out that Coopers beach was voted one of the top 5 beaches in the US! If you return to the Hamptons I'd highly recommend visiting Sag Harbor, it is one of my favorite towns and absolutely gorgeous. Sagtown Coffee on Main St. is super cute and has great coffee. The Hampton Jitney is also a bus service that goes between NYC and the Hamptons that you could try checking out, I think its a little more expensive than the LIRR but also a bit quicker travel times.
This video feels like home!! I’m a born and raised long islander and have always spent my summers out East. This video was so peaceful and sweet, just like the Hamptons. I loved this so much 🥹 thank you for showing off my favorite place!!!

Loved that you took a day trip by yourself. I’m single and often travel alone. I never considered a day trip to the Hampton so fully enjoyed traveling with you. Beacon and Newburgh NY are excellent day trips. Please keep doing these segments!

This one was a real treat but yes, they can definitely be done more cheaply! There are so many options for travel and food to match whatever budget you have. Maybe you could look into local buses/bike or car hire rather than ubers for future trips.
