- More a musical journal with a hint of autobiography rather than performance per se. The idea is to be spontaneous, improvisational, uncalculated and candid. Exploring singing and playing in a more expressive way than in the past...
I always liked the Jimi Hendrix version of this song too, also Al Kooper's iconic organ riff- he said he was lucky the B3 was already turned on when he volunteered his way into that song's recording session because he had no idea how to run a Hammond organ!

more..I did hear the Beatles “All You Need is Love” this past Friday.That made me smile and remember other times in days gone by.
It's crazy 'cuz out here in Stuart, VA we have a local tiny radio station, WHEO that plays everything from Elvis to straight ahead jazz to deep cuts from bands like Yes even. Mainstream radio has been eaten up by corporate interests I guess and I love being able to turn on a radio station that's across town from me and so often be surprised... Thanks for listening to my little "radio station"!

So many twists and turns in life that continuously shape who we are. Music is such an important thread of the fabric of our lives!
Yes music can be like a journal, referencing the past and also reflecting our current take on the past...

Dylan is always a great choice to live by, and you have a good voice for singing Dylan (Lol). I hear the stone rolling down the hill around 6:00 😅 And then, you conceal the secret in that very passage... ironic.
Thank you Rose for making that discovery and bringing it to my attention. Intention is all well and good but for me if music ain't allowed to stretch beyond my intention it just ain't alive in the same way...
