New Student Officers Arrive at Bishopgarth

After a recruitment freeze of over two years the Force today welcomes 32 new student officers to the next 35 years of their career.
The distinctive tones of Drill Instructor Barry Lewis will again be heard as the student officers come to learn their craft with West Yorkshire Police at the Learning and Development Centre Bishopgarth.
They are the first batch of a total of 96 new recruits.
