For us the first Camino was understanding how strong these small creatures actually are - I remember walking 27km through pouring rain, and the only 2 people in auberge who still had power to run around like little squirells, were the kids. Now, starting this camino, we don't have any doubts anymore.

good way a hug from another pilgrim you visited my beautiful homeland, the beautiful and wonderful beach of Apúlia good way

Thank you! It was one of the most quiet walks to Apulia, as we chose the inland route (not the one by the coast) from Povoa de Varzim to Apulia. We didn't meet a single pilgrim on this route for all day - I think everyone chooses the path by the coast

You're very brave, walking the camino with Kids! I always wanted to do it but never had the courage to start.. and the four of you just did it, impressive!

You can do it, go for it! The hardest part is getting to the starting point and getting Your pilgrim's passport. Everything else happens naturally - I mean, we all know how to walk, right? :) Of course, the Camino isn't easy, but once You're there, You can be sure You'll do it.

fantastic and inspiring, was your first also in Portugal? I guess this is the easiest solo and with kids, I havent seen people with kids on the spanish way!

Yes, we did the Portugese Central Route 1,5 years ago, we also have a video of that one :)
Indeed, the Coastal one could be the best with kids - a big portion of the route is without big elevation differences, and there are wooden board paths, which makes it much easier. Downside - a lot of strong ocean winds, which You don't have when You walk the inland route.

Bērniem šis ir jau otrais Santjago ceļš - pirms pusotra gada nogājām Portugāles centrālo ceļu, tāpēc zināma pieredze bērniem jau ir. Mēs arī dzīvojam lauku viensētā, tāpēc mums ikdienā sanāk diezgan daudz staigāšanas.
