We start our adventure sailing from Dubai, taking four days to reach Mahe, the largest island in Seychelles, with its charming capital, Victoria. Enjoy breathtaking views as we dock and prepare for a day full of exciting activities.
We hop on a private speedboat to explore the surrounding islands, including a visit to the St. Anne Marine National Park. Snorkel in crystal-clear waters, encounter vibrant marine life, and discover the efforts to protect and grow the coral reefs.

Beautiful! That turquoise water - the white sand - just amazing! I felt like I was there with you - the water lapping at the boat, bouncing through the chop - I've been to so many plaecs like that and understand just how much they touch you. A shame about La Digue - hopefully Mauritius will be OK - I think Port Louis is big enough for the ship to dock.

You could do a day at sea video. Could be interesting.
Great idea! Many are asking us to do a "life on the ship" video, and we plan to do one after Cape Town. For us, the ship is mainly a way to get from one amazing place to another. We use the sea days to rest and edit our videos (which we love doing as a hobby). We find the destinations more interesting, as cruise ships tend to have similar activities, great food, and entertainment. Stay tuned!

Thanks! The nature walk and turtles were such a peaceful experience. 🐢 As for the homing pigeons, the crew captured them in Penang, but no one will tell us what happened to them.
We promise to make a ship video soon. For us, the ship is just a way to get from one port to another, but we know it's part of the adventure too. We have many sea days before we reach Europe, so we'll definitely do a ship video and hope it meets your expectations. Stay tuned! 🚢
Arghhh...just lost my comment due to multi-tasking. We love your videos, especially this one, which is your best yet (except for the slightly too loud Caribbean music :). You really made us feel like we were with you on that hike (ouch, my knee hurts) and on that sandy beach, looking at the beautiful blue water. And those wonderful tortoises. Heaven. We remarked to each other that it would be so much nicer if the ships would stay overnight when at a wonderful port like Mahe Island. Would you mind sharing the name of your boat and tour information? Looking forward to more of your UWT travel videos. We are subscribed and when we watch via the MacBook I can "like" and comment, though we often watch CZcams streaming via our Tivo unit. Best wishes to you both.

Have you heard people refer to cruise weight gain as baby weight? lol! Not for you! Do you do a comfortable low carb lifestyle and exercise? Would love to hear more about your strategy. Haha, "baby weight" from cruising is a real thing, I try to stick to a comfortable low-carb lifestyle, which helps a lot. I don't eat 3 meals a day and avoid the buffet. The dining room keeps the portions smaller and skip desert! Plus, I make it a point to stay active. I try and avoid the bus tours and instead choose private tours to get more walking. I use the gym for weights only and do the dance classes on the ship along with walking an hour while at sea.
What’s your advice in booking private tours? Where do you look?
We always try to research every port for things to do. CZcams is a great resource, but there aren't always many videos of cruise ports. In most ports, you'll find tours offered right at the gate or cruise terminal. We usually Google terms like "car and driver," "taxi tour," "private tour," and so on. Traveling independently takes a bit more work, but it gives you a better experience and, believe it or not, you end up saving money! Happy travels! 🌏
