I just got the game and I knew it was hard. But a played the original game mode and it is way harder than I thought it was going to be. Props to all of the people that can play even on level 19 speeds.

I didnt know Greentea helped design the multi-player. I noticed him in the trailer, though. The multi-player is a ton of fun, he and the rest of the team did a great job on the multi-player expansion.
This mode seems so fun and desperately makes me want to purchase one of the consoles the game is available on specifically for this title!

Greentea gone from Tetris comm’s greatest treasure to one of it’s creator. If that ain’t the greatest character development ever idk what it is. Also big pogs in the chat to Enhance for caring and helping the community be involved in the process of making and promoting this game. Remember getting in a call with a bunch of big Tetris faces last night in the CTM cord and we all had a blast playing the game.
Been binging a bunch of your vids lately, and only recently learned of Jonas’s passing. Still sad to see him even in just a random shot. Wish well to his family and to all that got to meet him in person.

Are there any tips on how to reduce input delay? I've turned off v-sync and lowered the graphics so low it should be a crime. Single player is fine, but multiplayer has delay that makes DAS and most of preciser maneuvers (spins, tucks) very risky (aka I mess them up most of the time) on higher levels (15+).
The best might be to have an option to disable the background imagery, as I think that is very taxing on the performance.
If you're talking local multiplayer, just get a computer that doesn't suck ass. 🤷 If you're talking online multiplayer, that has input lag simply inherent to the network connection that you're not going to be able to "fix". The best you can do is only play people who live within a close geographic proximity. Your input lag in online multiplayer has absolutely NOTHING to do with background imagery.

No, Enhance got quite greedy here. If you want all the new features now, it's around $50 and is only on xbox and PC. You'll get it for free on PS4 summer of 2021. They should have let you just pay the extra cost for the new features but nope, it's either buy the same game again + extra features or wait like 8 months

I need to let out my upsetment somewhere, sorry scout, love the videos you've made about this! It's a delight to see the game and it's an even bigger delight to see greentea being lead developer on it, this update deserves all the love in the world and I need you to know that I have nothing but love for your videos as well!
But that is also why I'm so upset now. I'm hyped! I want to play it, and I want to play it now! But I only have the original Tetris Effect, and microsoft decided to make the multiplayer a timed exclusive. That hurts. I could buy it from the microsoft store now, of course, but when the free update comes out that simply means I now own two copies of the exact same game. That's such a waste! It's fine for new players, but for the people who already have Tetris Effect this is such an unfair deal, and I know the players are going to let their voices be heard, but I fear they're going to take it out on Tetris Effect Connected rather than Microsoft, and the game doesn't deserve that!
Tldr: Microsoft sucks and I just need to yell about that for a while

Thank you, I finally found someone who agrees with me. It's a bit ridiculous that the people who bought their original game, therefore giving them the money to make a second game, have to now buy the game again or wait for half a year
Hey aGameScout, I have a question concerning Tetris Effect Connected: Can you play this with a USB compatible NES controller that's hooked up to your PC? I tried a lot and it doesn't seem to work, I can only play with an Xbox controller but not a general gamepad. How do you guys play the game?
You can, but you need additional software for your computer to recognize the USB connected NES controller
@@aGameScout Thanks a lot fot this quick response!! Yes, that's also what my internet search told me. I tried the x360ce emulator but this program apparently has to sit in the same folder as the game.exe which is somewhat impossible because Microsoft Apps are installed into the WindowsApps folder and I can't get permission to edit these folders... Which software do you use for that?

It's a bit of a shame that the netcode is utterly shit and it feels like your pieces are floating around, that and the fact score attack can seemingly go on infinitely, while the loser has to sit there and watch someone else playing the game.... what an absolutely awful update. I wouldn't mind if it wasn't a patch that is being released at full price on a completely different store.
4 players only being available once a week is the whole reason I never bought this game.
