Known for her sparkling presence on the screen and her willingness to innovate and experiment at the We The Women Festival in Mumbai curated by Mojo, Alia Bhatt chose a different role- that of Interviewer. And she turned the tables on journalist Barkha Dutt ! #WeTheWomen

I see two beautiful women, making a great conversation. They come from different industry, different generations, different backgrounds, yet they've kept the whole interview so engaging. When I was a young girl, Barkha Dutt taught me that it's okay to take a stand for yourself. And I think I have re-learnt a lot again by watching this interview.

She's just trying to understand the person behind the professional. That's how actors do character work. Look beyond the surface and you'll see there's a deep reason why Alia chose to ask that question. Also, spa is just an example. She just wanted to know what are the kind of things Barkha would do to unwind, that's all

A painfully stale conversation. The questions are so stereotypical that Dutt hardly had anything new or insightful to add to the general larger conversation about the larger themes that were attempted to address. A wasted opportunity.
