I'm a certified pyrotechnician, sometimes during stage shows you can use what is called "cold sparks" they look and act like normal but wont burn, injure anyone or sets they come in contact with. This is one possible thing Disney dose to ensure the safety of the cast. My company supplies some of the tubes Disney uses to set off fireworks every night around the world.

Thanks for Bringing Back the Hushpuppies to Columbia Harbour House at the Magic Kingdom! Disney Really Needs to Focus on Bringing Back Old Stuff Right Now. Many Old Stuff Were Taken Away and This Was Completely Messed Up, like Removing Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah from their Music Loops and Cutting Off the "Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls" Line.

I assume Mickey's fireworks/sparkler Pyro is controlled by a computer program like the other fireworks (someone correct me if I am wrong) and the timing was somehow messed up... but then the music would have been off too, right? The Mickey castmember seemed almost more worried about hitting his mark for the performance than protecting himself, and it seemingly turned out fine, but if this is a case where his Pyro is glitching and just doing what it wants, that can't be good. I'm curious to see if he shoots off fireworks tonight or during the next few performances. It would be a shame if it's cut out completely. Although I obviously prefer that to anyone getting hurt.

So is it true that you won't be able to get into epic universe unless you get a 3 day park pass? What about those who have APs? I saw that you need to get a 3 day pass because epic won't be a single park ticket. Hopefully you can do an episode with this if it's true

Time to retire Fantasmic, a show designed around the immense talent that this company once had that they can no longer sustain. The Maleficent Dragon isn’t being rebuilt and the 2.0 hack job ruined the flow. It’s time to let it go.
