Our 17 year old cat who is otherwise very healthy waited until we had installed new carpet throughout the house and started peeing all over it. Our house reeks of cat urine and we don't know what to do about it. She has a litter robot and uses it but she still has peed all over the house
Unfortunately, for them, cats are sometimes rather 'straightforward' and cruelly candid: she does not feel safe, healthy, clean, or well on the new carpet... she is allergic to it or is afraid of sickening... 🥹 Good luck!!! ( to her and you also...)
