@mukase chic my mom used to fry some so I know how to roll it. In fact I used to carry the dough to where they knead it and back. And quite frankly it's hard work for nothing. They don't make any thing out of it. Sometimes after every thing the profit is so small like 20 cedis for all that labour intensive work. Not worth it. Sometimes they even run into losses. These women suffer a lot. Thank God for education, cos like you said if you were to be doing it, you would have sold it for 5 cedis and that's proper. Except that a lot of Ghanaians don't see it that way, they think it's just flour and water, and don't even care about the labour. Smh.
Love the education you’re giving us here. We can all do better to support small businesses like this one. These incredible women are raising whole communities, feeding their families, sending their children to school and many more with businesses like this. So much respect for her and others like her. ❣️ I subbed so quickly after I saw the post on @ndudybyfafa’s channel.
Really enjoyed this. It’s crazy how much work goes into this for the profit she actually gets . I found some bofrot mix in one of our Ghanaian grocery stores here and thought what a great concept . I bought some and tried it and wasn’t bad at all .
This dough is what we call fried dumpling in Jamaica. Dont dust it with sugar as you were advised. Just serve it with stir fry cabbage mixed with carrots.
She’s so eloquent and uniquely intelligent ... hey, thanks for this lovely content.
Amazing, proud Ghanaian here..keep going
Wow!!! Nothing is really easy .... people really need all the support that we can give!!! Wow 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Can we say that Actress Esther Rolle was also from Ghana? Each has a gorgeous full face and smile like sunshine in their mouths.
Grateful for what these women go through to make these delicious snacks just to sell at such low prices. I pray she gets an oven soon tho
