Great rip man. Dont buy anymore plastic supports. Get the aluminum one from RPM. I put it on mine, had a big crashed and tore the wing half an inch. Support is just fine. It cost more but you won't have to keep buying supports.

I am trying man. Poseidon 2240 880kv is technically a 10s motor , but when it first came out it was advertised as 12s motor. On 10s it will be wicked. On 12s the rotor might not last. I am still waiting on my 880 to be replaced by the new revised 12s motor. It sounds confusing but just don't run on 12s. 10s max

It'll be mounted in a dbxl-e 2.0 with a leopard 58113 870kv motor, 18t pinion/ 46t spur gears, pro-line mx43 badlands and last I weighed it, it was 37lbs with batteries. Using the hobbywing max 5 esc but it's dying.
So what I'm getting from this platform is that the internals and all of the steel shaft drive train components are practically Bulletproof unless you've swapped all that out? I just got. K8s and my 2 4s 9000 100c batteries came in last night. Gonna test it after work today.
I went with the Katron instead cause I heard x max would keep flipping. I owned the x max once and it constantly wanted to do wheelies,, so this time I went with Katron. Someone stole my xxmaxx with lobster motor in it. Never had a chance to run it with the lobster motor. I went with Katron this time . My best friend own both and he likes Katron better, and recommended I get Katron.
This video is I used TP5860 1000KV on 12s. 39t pinion 47t spur. I don't use any special settings in settings other then Timing and soft start, and linear throttle curve
@@KiloWattRC car never left the workbench. Initial setup keeps it there. Have other flier esc that Works with same motor and lipo. Just went through all settings on the programcard once more. Timing from 0-16 and pwm all of them. Soft start and from 0-80%start power. 8mm bullit on motor and lipo 140c. But under no load on bench it cogs

5860 1070kv. 58-112mm. I can't remember the gearing in the video. but onroad it was doing 94mph with same gearing. I might of been 39p47s is not mistaken

Oh yeah TP 5860 1070kv on 12s is brutal. But honestly castle 2028 is my favorite 12s motor. It's efficient and powerful. This TP motor is just brutal.

Driveshafts and axles bend easy, u must upgrade them
Very nice. May do 12s in X Maxx. Was looking at ZTW esc with 620 motor. How does the drivetrain hold up.
Drivetrain is pretty solid. I've been beating it up on 12s for over a year, so I have replaced a few axles and rear diff internals.

Y wind I run 20 degrees and D wind i run under 10 degrees
