Branded Despia is one of those meta deck that do like. The flow of their fusion plays just feels fun, smooth, and understandable. Definitely something I like to have access to but not primarily use.
Honestly, I prefer to match against 10 despias than 1 halq-don

First deck I built in MD was a Darklord deck. Then added in some Despia cards but now I’ve been completely pure Despia so I’ve been waiting for these new cards. Super excited to start playing them
I run branded darklord despia, it’s actually so insane. Put Archlord Kristyia in your deck, dump it with branded fusion, then have first darklord monster reborn it. The only 2 cards that can beat this is dark ruler and forbidden droplet.

I've been looking forward to the new despia support for months. I fell in love with the deck with the cards already in the game and I can't wait to push for diamond 1 this season
The fusion with Albaz plus Nibiru into Titaniklad is something I hadn't thought of before, nice! I was about to comment that you could just send any light attribute for Albion, but it made sense afterwards.

With how crazy MD gets, I am glad there is a slow playthrough with an explanation, which makes it easy to follow.
I recommend having a plan B just in case your branded fusion gets negated. I beat a lot of despia players just by stopping that one card.
I went against this one player on ygopro that played minimum handtraps and played mostly extenders with his despia. Even after negating his branded fusion, he was fusioning and swarming like a madman and tore apart my board.
So if you have to choose between a handtrap and extensions with Branded, extensions are the way to go... infact, you can just about spare the handtraps and play board breakers like Evenly.
Dark ruler has always been the way to go for me
What was his decklist? Unless you open decent hand ash/imperm stops this deck.
@@SkullEater78 dark ruler when you have cards like tragedy, edge imp, polymerization and opening that have discard effects or serve a purpose in the grave? Id use forbidden droplet over dark ruler. Only HTs I use are Maxx Cs bc its disgusting

playing extender is also a double edged sword in master duel since unlike tcg, maxx c exist in MD.
This was my most anticipated release of this game so far, ever since I saw your video on the structure deck for these cards I’ve been hype.
fyi if u special summon mirrorjade using ad libitum, when mirrorjade leave the field it wont trigger the destructive effect at endphase.. cheers!

Played the deck with a brew earlier today. 16-4, it was crazy how much card advantage you could get
That's going to be strong and balanced deck. I love it, not so much with crazy ultimate negate, but still great interuption and easy follow up play.
It’s a shame how disgustingly expensive they made the whole deck. We knew the f2p friendly phase wouldn’t last forever but they’re really dropping it off *hard*
You might have invested your gems in wrong deck or maybe too many decks.
I as a f2p casual player I literally own every top tier deck till now.
Branded despia, adv pranks, adamancipators, tri zoo, swordsoul.

@@mightychlorophytegames7788 there is variety as there are also a lot of rouge decks that work against the meta, you can follow the meta, rouge decks, both or neither, but try to have fun :D

Is it possible to make this deck with minimum requirement? I lack materials to make this deck and so far I am guaranteed to have 3 branded fusion and 3 fusion monster(I have 180 crafting materials) so is it OK? Or I should add more fusion monster and get 2 branded fusion only.
I just wanna try the deck even if I didn't finish it yet so and ideas will help.

Its so sad that theres no pack for despia 😭 I dont have any of the relevant cards so Id literally have to craft every card if I tried to build the deck

Typical that the pack is announced after I build a Diamond Speedroid deck. Been playing Despia since release so time to grind for these new cards
The thing that makes Despia meta is that they're like Tri-Brigade but for Fusion.
They dont really have extra deck negates, but they have some form of multiple non target pop cards, rebound, draw power, and 3000 beatstick monsters that could be summoned easily
Played branded despia last format and it was insane going full gas, no handtraps needed! Came first 4 locals in a row with the first one being no game losses. This will dominate MD

Bro if the opponent has a negate quick effect while you chained 3 link effect will they disrupt the 1st effect of the chimera? Before it even chained?

For example, if I want to mix them with other archetypes, how much space would that "engine" take?
Asking cuz I like the discard effect, would like to try it with Harpies or even Vampires

Built this deck with the adventure engine and it's gotten me back to Platinum. Only cost me about 90 UR.
Another reason to put Prohibition in my deck, as well as cards that negate board breakers to keep Prohibition from getting destroyed.

Does guardian chimera's protection work if it's used with "greater poly?" I've been using this combo with verte but I haven't had a clear cut way of finding out if greater poly counts as making it untargetable. The bonus effects on it are still nice though. Should give it a try if you have the SR points and a verte just chillin bc of the dpe nerf

i was doing the combo with polymerization and got nibiru'd... but the chances of you opening the frightfur package and the opponent having a nib are not that high. still figuring out a way to play around that nib
