Why do you keep saying Swedish knife? Its Swiss... not Swedish. Swiss is even in the title...
Hi,
yes I’m aware NOW That I was doing that!🤷🏻♂️
Thanks Andy🤟
I "JUST" went through Hurricane Beryl.
The knife in my pocket....Victorinox Fieldmaster.
I have maybe 100 knives, but when it gets scary...I reach for my SAK.
During the storm, my generator went wonky on me. Using the screwdriver on the SAK, I was able to dissasemble the power switch and fix the connection. Cant do that with a Bowie knife.
A vid of you testing it out would be great andy, especially the saw would like to see how aggressive you can get with it.
The serrations are perfect for rope and cord, while leaving a plain edge near the handle for whittling.
This blade is actually very good and simple to sharpen being chisel grind ! Im not sure if the soldier 08s blade is made of a different steel to the regular models but its edge retention is pretty good and gets lots done! The biggest problem is the legality of it ! Nevertheless its a great knife for outdoor enthusiasts!
Probably the best I've ever owned
That’s Good to hear Colin! I’m really looking forward to using!! 🤘
There’s also the forester m grip which has the same tool set except it has a regular blade and cork screw 👍🏻
Sounds even better! Andy🤟
I love this knife but Iike he said, the serrated blade is a deal breaker for me. I wished it came with plain edge and I know one does come with plain but you have to spend a little more for that one. 🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️
Read the box dude...Swiss Army
Yeh I know! I keep saying that! Forgive me!🙏🏼🤙
not swedish, but swiss. are 2 different country dude XD anyway good video!
😂 Fair one!!! You are very right 🙏🏼👏🏻
Thanks Andy 🤙
Why does all EDC equipment have bottle openers? Do the manufacturers think we are all alcoholics?
Very good point! Although be aware this knife isn’t EDC in the UK! Thanks for your response!
Andy 🤟
For the great classic Coca Cola glass bottle!!! 😉👌
Please do a follow up on this knife, I'd love to know how you found it in the long term
Hi there, Thanks for your comment! I sure will, should be out next weekend!! Watch this space! Andy 🤟
@@Wildernesswarriorbushcraft excellent stuff, I'll take a gander! Cheers
Its use in the Netherlands to.
I have one
And model nr kl4 .
Thare are clones officiële by the army from china.
But that is kl1 serie..
You can see it that the name victorinox is not on the mean blade.
Itsvictorinox notvitorianox 1:04
Sad they can't even have a locking blade in the UK. Has to be a slip joint
Cutting edge Must be under 3 inches long and yes Non locking! So much Knife crime in the UK! Andy 🤟
But they told us there wouldn’t be any crime if we gave up our guns.
Again with the serrations! Satan invented serrations to send souls to perdition! There is a special place in the underworld for people who put serrations on knives! I have taken at least 4 knives to a grinder to remove despicable serrations and make them usable. When the designers who put serrations on knives find themselves in the 7th layer of the infero, I hope Old Nick informs them that they deserve it!
Wow!!!! I mean I don’t like serrated knives but wowww!😂
It's a utility blade who knows what a soldier might have to cut might need them to cutthrough a parachute or thick belt type materials
Sweden is not Switzerland.
Hi James, Yes Yes I know!! Not sure why I kept doing that! Will be doing another video review on this knife very soon so will also be clearing up that mistake! Anyway thanks for the comment! Andy 🤟
