GT goku has a good base form so There’s a little chance he can’t use ssj4 power against ssj blue. Power level is almost the same if you look at their base form x Transformation
GT Goku trained with Uub for years with God ki and had the plot device the tail growing back, Super Goku still got ten years to build up that much stamina, it wasn't even fair if anything, it should have been GT Goku after Baby Vegeta saga was over.

IDK I know this is late, but by that logic GT Goku would still win. Super Goku stood up, but he was first identified unconscious. In standard tournament rules, a KO is still an elimination. Even though GT Goku was still on the ground, he was awake and still talking, not to mention still in Super Saiyan 4. It also could not be a draw because GT Goku was slowly rising, which would still declare him the victor.
The UI at the end was like a hint/glimpse of him unlocking omen in the tournament of power. Hence why he collapsed after he got back up.
No. He collapsed because he used perfected blue in the battle but was so reckless that he forgot the blue is a transformation that drains a lot of ki and stamina. (As seen in the battle with Zamasu that his arm was licking out steam that is his ki coming out by pure pressure the he couldn't contain it)
No stamina wouldn't make him walk only just stand for a moment while he fall by pure exhaustion and lost consciousness

Ultra Instinct is basically your body moving on it's own without the mind and Super Goku(Manga) was unconscious so it's very likely he achieved Ultra Instinct for a moment but couldn't keep it due to his body being too worn out.

Without stamina you wouldn't walk, without stamina you wouldn't run as fast, without stamina you wouldn't be awake and without stamina you wouldn't breathing calmly. Us human have energy and many being have energy that we always use when it comes to many thing like lifting a weight but later on you would get tired by just lifting 15 tines, that why many sport use many energy when it comes to basketball, football and so on.
GT Goku even stated it in the end of the video when he achieved ultra instinct that he was standing with pure determination but he lost too much stamina when using blue he couldn't stand for a couple of second.
Ultra Instinct is your body moving by itself without the using of the mind but you must understand that before ultra instinct he was using perfect blue that drains a lot of energy and stamina.
Blue can only be use twice a day stated by whis in the manga.

There was another factor in play here that I think was overlooked:
When the Grand Priest made GT Goku an adult, Goku said he felt a lot stronger than he did before. If you'll recall, he couldn't stay in Super Sayian 3 as a kid during GT because he had trouble utilizing that much energy. As an adult, not only does that problem vanish, but he now has access to that energy as a baseline. This provides a (I feel) pretty sizable boost to his baseline power level, and it made all his forms a lot stronger.
Now, if DBS Goku grows back his tail somehow, it would likely make his regular Super Sayian transformations easier to maintain. But since SS God, Blue, and Ultra Instinct are using separate ki sources, I'm not sure it would affect those much, if at all. And since UI is something even gods can attain, I'm nearly certain the tail wouldn't affect it.
DatShadyGuy I feel like the tail would effect ultra instinct, at least a small amount. As in dragon ball, Goku losing his tail left him weaker, and might have sapped his stamina, and when he regrew it he got stronger as shown when he was trapped by the dragons gum. The tail might provide a slight stamina boost for ultra instinct, but I feel it might not effect the god forms too much since they use god ki and not normal energy.
It did mention in GT where Goku said that his small body can’t handle the power of Super Saiyan 3 for long, his older body was a lot more developed and resilient.

Vegeta who is a Sayian Prince and knows pretty much everything about the race and Oozaru form (he was able to gain full control over it) doesn't give a shit about his tail and not once does he try to get it back (and he could've used Dragon Balls).
Not to mention that hybrids born *without* tails are stated to be stronger than those born with tails.
Broly can use Oozaru power even without a tail.
Overall Toriyama seems to dislike tails and Oozaru and that's the reason why it never shows up again and why new Sayians don't even have tails.

Well thinge were toned down in the show while the manga kept things like blood and bad mouthing. Which is why the manga did much better in the Goku Black arc because the stakes felt high and it gave characters much more depth. Although the TOP arc was less than average for the manga

I loved this fight for a few reasons. One, it showed some love to SSJ4, duh. But the main thing is how it was less a battle of speed and power and more about intellect. GT Goku has about two decades more fighting experience than Super Goku, even if he has less power, which he used to stand a chance against Super Goku who lacked suck strategy. It was a battle of experience and technique when it came down to it, even that teaser at the end where Super Goku went Ultra Instinct Omen, GT Goku was correct in that he was only standing out of determination, he didn't have any strength to keep going whatsoever.
Just how smart this fight was was brilliant

SsjG and ssj4 both have healing abilities but are forgotten about by the writers because both have only been seen/used once (super when he got stabbed by Beerus and GT when his eyes healed after Eis Shenron blinded them) BUT even if he does have more stamina than god and blue Goku, the power difference is too great for ssj4 Goku to even compete with super Goku. The God transformation increases his power from multi solar-system level or galaxy level(ssj3 power) to beyond universal. That itself puts him above omega Shenron(who could only destroy the universe by spreading his negative energy over MANY years as opposed to instantly in the 3 clashes with Beerus) to debatably a little above ssj4 Gogeta. GT Goku stands no chance in this fight after ssjg is unleashed, but everything else before hand is completely accurate.
If DBS Goku grew his tail back, his forms would be far less draining on him.

Who cares about power levels? Super Goku may have the power and speed advantage, but GT Goku has the advantage in every other category: less stamina drain, skill, intelligence, etc.

(Spoiler Alert) At the end of the video, Manga Goku says if he wants to win the tournament of power he needs to do more than just rely on brute strength, and in the manga, master Roshi says the same thing to Goku and then goes on to fight Jiren and lose. Then Goku goes ultra instinct for the first time in the manga. I like how the ending HyourinJutsu has made correlates to the story in the manga and shows a slight possibility for goku to go ultra instinct before the ending credits,

Who else noticed that GT Goku absorbed the 4-star ball last. It may be nothing, but if it was, it was a nice touch. It goes back to early dragonball with him having his Grandpa's ball and Bulma inviting him to go on the journey.
I'm just scrolling through the comments and I'm here to settle the debate BASED ON HYOURIN'S LOGIC (and from some research).
In the animation, DBS Goku from the manga is used. Although there was a panel while he was training with Whis of a silhouette of SSJGod behind him, it wasn't explicitly stated that he absorbed the god ki. This was also mentioned in the Archive section of the animation, as Goku didn't revert to SSJ in his fight against Beerus like he did in the anime. His base form and any of his regular SSJ transformations (SSJ1, SSJ2, SSJ3) are weaker than their anime counterparts after the fight with Beerus.
Also stated in the video, manga DBS Goku perfected SSJB. In the manga, SSJB was a transformation that offered more power and ki control at the cost of stamina. That is why Goku preferred using SSJGod in the manga, because it was a decent boost in strength and ki without the strain in stamina.
In the video, GT Goku was changed to an adult, which is why forms that were a struggle to maintain while he was a kid like SSJ3, was able to be used more effectively on top of having the tail which Elder Kai in the anime said was needed to help maintain the form. GT Goku in his base form was just as strong or even stronger than manga DBS Goku because he has trained with Uub for a decade or even longer since they were seen training in the HBTC. It's even implied in the anime that Base GT Goku as a kid was stronger than SSJ3 DBZ Goku when he was fighting Kid Buu.
As stated in the video, manga SSJB Goku was stronger than GT SSJ4 Goku at the cost of stamina. The reason SSJ4 won isn't because it was the stronger form, but the form with virtually zero drawbacks. As I mentioned earlier, DBS manga Goku prefers SSJGod over SSJB for this very reason, a longer power boost over a shorter and more powerful form.
I feel like the animator did his best not only on the research, but trying to tie everything and provide an explanation before and during the fight to avoid any inconsistencies. An amazing animation with superb fighting and clever storytelling.
But he forgot 1 single thing. The GT Perfect File stated that. When GT Goku got turned into a child, it was his STAMINA that was reduced, not power. So even when the Grand Minister turned GT Goku into an adult again. Hi base power would stay the same.
I’m glad that the animator used Manga Goku instead of Anime Goku, since the Anime version is a genius at fighting and can maintain Blue Kaioken for a long time in ToP
you're ignoring the fact that the manga follows the movie of Fukkatsu no F, in which base Goku easily takes care of Freeza, whom had just one-punched Gohan out of Super Saiyan (and Super Saiyan Gohan may be weaker than Mystic Gohan, but he's at least stronger than Piccolo, who himself should at least be stronger than Dabura/ Super Perfect Cell at this point)
João Calixto not necessarily, if you ain’t a Saiyan they side line you hard, piccolo is still weaker than cell probably. Also Gohan in resurrection F is without any training for a long time making him not even half as strong as mystic, heck he would probably be weaker than he was against cell.

And Gohan being able to knock out Shisami with one punch after Piccolo struggled with him is enough argument to state that he is at least stronger than he was in early Boo Saga

Was dissapointed that Super Goku lost, but when looking at it, it makes sense:
Argument No.1:
MSSJB (Mastered Super Saiyan Blue): Is a form beyond SSJB, and it was established and said in the manga that the SSJB transformation itself takes about 60% of one's Ki and Stamina. And then transforming into MSSJB, it's clear to say atleast 65% has been used up just for transformations. Then we have to calculate in SSJ, SSJ2, SSJ3, SSJG and SSJB. In all forms he got a beating and used up a lot of energy, so by the times he goes MSSJB, it's easy to say he used ATLEAST 70% of his Ki and Stamina. (FYI: That's still being generous. It's been said that SSJ3 has insane stamina and ki consumption.)
Argument No.2:
MSSJB requires insane concentration, meanwhile SSJ4 doesn't. To maintain his godly state, Super Goku has to focus on controlling his KI like the Kaioken, meanwhile SSJ4 is primal and only has low energy consumption.
*Conclusion:*
GT Goku wins because of his immense Base Energy attained through training, skill through experience and the extra power from absorbing the black star dragon balls. His forms are also all mastered, increasing the individual multipliers to:
- SSJ: x50 [x70Mastered]
- SSJ2: x100 [X150Mastered]
- SSJ3: x400 [X450Mastered]
-SSJ4: x3,500,000,000 [No Mastery Achieved]
Also, the SSJ4 form, while still not being AS strong as SSJB Goku and MSSJB Goku, has a lesser KI and Stamina consumption along with a primal behaviour, not needing concentration.
Be reminded all multipliers are taken of my personal powerscale or were said so by the Toei staff themselves.

It does make sense except I thought the video exaggerated manga gokus stamina drop a bit too much.
Let me explain what just happened... In the anime of Super, Goku fought Beerus in super sayian God but in the middle of the fight, he ran out of power, and went back to super sayian. While he was fighting, however, he still could keep up with Beerus, even without Super sayian god, because his body absorbed god ki, and it was much stronger than before. That state (absorbed god ki by Goku) is called Saiyan beyond god, or God essence... In the manga however, Goku never ran out of power with super saiyan god and never absorbed its power, and as a result he never had the state of God essence, meaning that his base form and super saiyan forms were as strong as before he became super saiyan god. That, along with the fact that GT Goku is older and could train much more than Super Goku is why GT Goku's Base, SSJ1, 2, and 3 forms were significantly stronger than Super (manga) Goku's. Now for the Ssj blue vs Ssj 4 part, Goku in the anime of super used Kaioken Blue which multiplies the power of blue, while in the manga, he never did that, and used Mastered Blue, a form which is more efficient and powerful than Casual Blue, but uses MUCH more stamina. It should even surpass Kaioken Blue in stamina usage... That is why he lost to GT Goku. If it was Goku from Super's anime, it would probably be Super Goku's win.

GT Goku would defeat both versions of DBS Goku. Ultimate Gohan and Trunks reached SSJB tier almost effortlessly in ridiculously short spaces of time and they were both infinitely weaker than End of Z Goku who's base form alone is stornger than both of them before they got their boosts, and end of Z Goku's training of half a decade with a reborn kid buu is inifinitely more strength boosting than the microscopic level of prep Gohan and Trunks got in super to make them reach SSJB tier so by that alone just going off how easy Gohan and Trunks got to SSJB tier, GT Goku should be way above grand priest if Gohan and Trunks can reach SSJB with barely any training and in crazily short time, GT Goku's training and time training makes Gohan and Trunk's seem microscopic, and this actually shows in the fights

(And keep in mind this was the weakest version of GT base Goku before he got 2 160x boosts in the next 2 arcs)
From everything I've analyzed the shocker is that GT Goku was stronger than DBS Goku all along, and not just stronger, but on a completely different echelon of power by virtue of scaling. And he doesn't even loose in the flawed feat argument either despite the ignorance of most fans who assume DBS Goku has to be stronger all because of the overhyped concept of universe busting, yet come with no evidence that GT Goku cannot universe bust and fail to realize the basic logic that feats are absolutely inconsistent with scaling like where SSJB Vegito uses his most powerful blast at max power to kill Zamasu and it only destroys a building wile Roshi and Piccolo easily destroy a moon with almost no effort, feats are just dramatic effect not serious power measurements, but despite the fact that feats are completely inadmissible there is proof of universe busting in GT as Omega Shenron claims that he can and I qoute" I am a god of destruction and I will utterly destroy the universe with my minus power and all that there is" so not only can he destroy the universe with his minus power but all that there is meaning whatevers outside the universe meaning multiverse if we want to go there, and to add more to this, Omega when using his minus power is in a state of zero effort, he is not even exerting any of his effort to destroy a universe, he doesn't put his actual power behind it, so he can destroy a universe just by standing there thinking about, what could he do if he actually put all his power into it? Super fans ignore all this and pretty much every ounce of evidence in GT and just say "I like SSJ4's design, but pretty sure Blue is stronger" with no facts whatsoever. Its a very naive fanbase tbh.

Your correct but when we think about it though, gt goku and his ssj4 wasnt really affected by his kid form considering he was able to use instant transmission and has the strength of his adult form
To be honest GT Goku as an Adult has WAY more stamina and coupled with his tail it increases his control by a significant amount. Not to mention his Base form was definitely the right strength here. In the end Blue Goku is definitely stronger but this seemed legit. If you're really angry about it make it that absorbing the dragon have him extra strength.

Gogeta SSJ>Broly SSJ>Goku and Vegeta SSJB, so Kefla SSJ should win against a Goku SSJB, I mean Broly must be stronger than Kale, but Kefla should be near him in Power level, a fusion is leagues above the individual fused ones, at least that's my opinion

Actually in manga goku got a pretty noticeable power up in his first world tournament when his tail grew back. I'd say about twice as strong. Don't know how it would affect endurance though.

i thought ssj4 was a transformation that drew out the user’s true potential and put the user at their peak. that’s why he turned into an adult when he was still a child. his ssj4 voice is deeper which means that goku’s peak would be much older than what he’s meant to be. in other words, ssj4 puts the user at their peak during all of time (whether in the future or past) so its not a limit breaker

Super Saiyan 4 does draw out the users maximum potential and brings the user to their prime like you said.
If Goku was at his late 70's(the age where Saiyan's start to age old) and he becomes Super Saiyan 4,

If any of you were wondering. It was explained in GT that GT Goku base was as strong as his ssj3 transformation back when he fought the first main filler character in series. He stated that the guy he was fighting was as strong as Buu, although he didn't care to transform unless it was necessary.
Also, this is Manga Goku. He never absorbed God to base. If it was anime one, he would probably destroy him in Ssj.
