Maria Baca, Albuquerque artist.

This is a compilation of video sketches about Maria for Univision in 1998. She is from Albuquerque and from a young age took to painting, considering it her second language. She became a prolific artist in various mediums, sculpting with clay, painting itself, lithography and beyond --- poetry. One of the pieces in this video focuses on her fascination with color in portraiture and as a way of seeing others.
