I bought a rotisserie chicken for less than 5 bucks last week, and a bowl of chicken mansala was that was on sale for a dollar. There’s definitely something going on where I live.
@Dennis-nc3vw Stores are lowering prices, not the government and not Bidonamics. Example: I saw a video on Target lowering prices. I wouldn't shop at Target, though.

I just left Walmart two hours ago after shopping for a few groceries. I noticed two items I always buy had price increases. At this point I’d just be happy to see the prices stop rising.

I bought some very cheap rotisserie chicken and chicken mansala this week. The rotisserie was $4.97 a bird, cheapest I’ve ever seen.

Some drillers had to actually pay refineries to take their oil in 2020. It took over a year to bring back production from those Dump admin lows, but we are now producing more oil than any country ever has.

The producers of the food are not lowering the cost. The retailers are just doing a short term discount. This is not fighting inflation this is just short term for elections.

I've never really bought groceries, just coffee,rice, flour and sugar mainly.I have enough deer roast,deer sausage, deer steaks,deer breakfast sausage, fish, shrimp etc to last till next hunting season,we raise cattle and always keep a hog or two, I have chickens and fresh eggs,my whole family is farmers so I have all the fresh vegetables I want and my aunts always make jelly and pickles and canned snap beans and stuff I just bring them some deer meat and take what I want.these grocery prices must suck!!!but that's how it's been since I can remember, we've always hunted and fished and processed our own beef and pork and deer meat 🍖🥓 and were doing it before I was even born.

Just a thought the city I live in gas is 3.29. I'll just say I'm older, and in my life gas has increased approximately 2.44; now I am sure some will say but that's just for regular, premium is like almost or more then 4.00 a gallon. Which means premium went up a whole $2.75. It's called inflation people, I know this may be hard for some to understand; but prices were always going to go up, its called life.
