He's maturing and really trying to be a veteran leader. He's so skilled offensively and been working to improve his defense. He's accepted ANT as the 1 without drama, in a league full of drama. He lost his mother to Covid, then shortly after injury. We've all been through adversity and I've been critical of Kat at times but I appreciate his resilience, message and his development of leadership. Keep working KAT! I love watching when you guys play team basketball without ego.

it wasn't about any adjustments by any teams or players.... it's just that the game was called closer to what the rules of the game actually are and when you can't just MUG opposing players it turns out they can make a few extra shots
it still wasn't officiated GREAT, but it was way more reasonable than the prior game which was a straight up grab and hold fest
The only thing I agree on is that refs need to be more consistent across the league with how they call games. One game they let the teams go, another game it's ticky-tack city. As to the "mug" comment...you're conflating that with good defense. The national sports media said NOTHING about the Wolves' game 2 defense being thuggish, illegal, or undeserving. So, Nuggets fan, enjoy the Game 3 win, and may the best team win the series.

Towns holding silent on the refs so I'll say it: The Wolves were set up, clear as day. When the refs allow physical playoff ball all postseason, teams come out playing that way. So when the refs suddenly change the calling super soft calls whenever any Wolf even goes near his assignment, obviously that results in early foul trouble. Which then translates to the Wolves backing off on D, for fear of fouling out, resulting in lots of open uncontested looks for Denver.
People can dismiss all this as if its nothing and act like it's wrong to speak of the refs, but it's very obvious that the reffing was inconsistent in a way that benefits one team exclusively, harming the other only.
This wasn't just a trivial change of style in officiating. I don't think I've seen anything like it in decades of watching basketball.

Well The Nuggets have returned the favor to the Timberwolves when in the 2nd game the Timberwolves whooped the Nuggets and won 106 to 80= win by 26 points, 3rd game Nuggets whooped the Timberwolves and won 117 to 90= won by 27 points !.
