7x8 ELK SHEDS! MY BEST SET YET

  • After countless days of watching this elk and following him from fall-spring I was finally able to pick up his antlers. It's a pretty cool process how antlers are shed and re grown each year. I was fortunate to capture much of his shedding process on camera. Hope you enjoy the video! SUBSCRIBE to catch all my videos.

Awesome video, and I like how you took efforts to not disturb him. Unfortunately, we've seen more shed hunters than normal out here, no animals in their normal winter feeding grounds, and more dead bulls than normal. I don't know if it's because of the economy or what, but there's at least double the number of folks compared to previous years. You're lucky a dozen folks weren't all watching the same bull! Thanks again, and great shot.
