I find it very easy to back up data files. I am more interested in the software that I have purchased and tweaked to my settings,. I found that I can not necessarily re-download that software if I purchase a new laptop. You keep mentioning data. A data file is worthless if you do not have the software to open it. I am more interested in a "system" back up. Is there a way to actually backup the software packages. I also do not want my data in the "cloud" which is a bigger target for hackers. So are you just selling software, or was there supposed to be info on backing up your system that I missed?
CrashPlan is an endpoint backup solution that gives users the ability to backup anything on their endpoint. Saving that data to the cloud is the default option, but there are other options as well if you have a different preferred storage destination.
