We bought a 7880 already converted for DTF. We have not started print full speed just yet but everyday I shake the carts, run a few head cleanings and test print designs for 2 to 3 shirts. I've noticed our white layer fades before the prints complete. The only way I've been able to resolve the issue thus far is by running a Initial Fill. Is there something else I should doing as apart of daily maintenance to prevent this issue with the white ink fading / separating?
The 7800&7880 are terrible for DTF and should not be used due to channel nozzle drop out as you’re experiencing. The printer only has a gravity based capping station. Quit using the 7880 for dtf. Bro E
