I feel like I just re-lived HOT 97 days after 30 years…This will be my last mix from this era. In the mix are some of the Best Freestyle tracks in my opinion with some classic tracks…this may sound a little more commercial than the other one. I might be a little rusty mixing these records. All edits, Remixes, Stutters and Scratching done by me with the exception of a couple original Remixes/Ultimixes. Tons of Freestyle not in the mix…to many records to choose from...this is all before 1992.

Wooooo this just reminded me of the Puerto Ricans in my block, they were the only ones i can relate too, although i was white, they treated me and showed me the way of life and music in their world. GOD BLESS THE PUERTO RICANS AND THEIR ISLAND.

You were lucky in Mecca of freestyle music back then . While us in San Francisco Bay Area or Monterey Bay Area Had DJs playing this on radio mix shows and some singles made it to hot 97.7 in San Jose or 106 KMEL into regular rotation when I was a teenager .
I am from NY too. Grew up going to Coney island and hanging on boardwalk parting listening to all the free style DJS it was my best times 67yrs now and still love it
