Gabrielle Hall died at 4am today, peacefully in her sleep. She was almost 48 years sober and would have been 97 in the autumn. Our thoughts are with her son Graham and her grandchildren.
She was hilarious, bless her. Had a dinner party with her once and she told us about her singing career back in the day. She then sang for us and cracked jokes all night. Her and Lady Sarah were an hilarious double act that day because of the dynamic between them. RIP to them both.
