Sales all depends what you sell and at what price . Tbh last week was one of my best weeks. You can never second guess it being self employed .
All you can do is keep listing. Imho you need about 1k items to make it work full time
My town is overwhelmed by a high number of charity shops. Which are always busy.
Having 86, listings, I had no sales for 3, days, then suddenly 6, 2, items had been on for 2, months. Finding it very sporadic.

my sales have been awful recently as well, think people are prioritising spending any spare money they have on holidays.
On various postal couriers my local post office has also Evri service now. It could be worth checking at yours.
Same happened with pair of vintage eggcups dropped them coming out of shed.😞
That’s happened to me too, barely any sales for about 3 weeks now. I even started listing on Vinted for the first time…

It's not cyclical per se. Britain's economy has been declining since around 2003 but the increase in the price of houses allowed people to keep spending. Turning around the British economy with woke, anti competitive policies effecting costs, will take many decades. Britain is as a country drowning under a mountain of debt, who prints money, causing inflation.
People have less money, many more resellers now so more competition
I tend to agree, also lot of people sell on FB and vinted now rather than doing car boot
Market is slowing down since january, this isnt the end of it. Every niche is getting flooded, sourcing very difficult. Things are going to get worse, this will end in disaster for most resellers.
Everyone buys re sold good for 5 years and no one is buying new goods anymore so all the prices rocket on new goods.. No one has any money left.
Sell what people want not old pottery etc can’t moan when u live a wealthy lifestyle
What's going on is somehow miraculously you managed to get a suspended ebay account re opened using the You Tube medium coupled with your poularity. Obviously you hit a nerve with ebay as I do not believe if you had tried to get your account reopened through its normal channels you would have failed to re open the account.. I also believe you are in an agreement with ebay to sell them? They like your publicity.. Good luck to you but I do not know of any other suspended sellers getting their accounts re opened. I know quite a few who "relied " on ebay for a living having the rug pulled.. Anyway have a good day.
