I didn’t even like football until the age of 9 and didn’t join a football club until I was 11, 2 years later I’m one of the key players of my local side. It feels good to reach this level after the rejection and hate I’ve received, I’ve just got to keep going and not develop an ego like the players around me. I thank my semi-pro dad and my coaches for all I’ve been able to do, if it wasn’t for my first coach who coaches my first club thinking I’m a CM, I would’ve never done this well. Thanks for the video Oskar, you help me so much!

I only gained interest in football at 10 and at 12 had played for 2 Sunday league clubs. I am now a vital cm and soon will go on free trials if scouting doesn’t go well.

i grew up in the UAE and Qatar and was surrounded by people who loved football while i didnt like sports at all until i turned 10 and started getting into football. I knew how to do a few skills within 3 months while it may have taken a year or so to get those skills for other people but I had a very big problem and it was me being overweight. I didn't even join a team until I moved to Pakistan where i joined a local team at age 14 and since i was pretty fat they put me in defence but now its been year since I joined this team and i am currently a key player for the U-18 team as a LB, still working on losing more weight, was at 85kg at 14 to now 70kg at 15.
Things will go up and down and it’s how you handle those setbacks that will determine where you head with your career! Good job and best of luck going forward 💪⚽️🤍

I think I relate to son because I live in the United States Shreveport Louisiana where soccer/football ain’t all that popular mainly basketball and American football but I do play for my local club cabosa united even though I don’t play for the competitive team I play for the rec team and I put in so much work so I can one day become a pro and since I’m a kid I can’t move out of Louisiana to go to Europe or go to a different state that might have more soccer/football opportunities but I still put in as much work as I can

Look to what you do have instead and build up your self-confidence over time, because it’s a skill like everything else, and it can be developed over time with the right techniques
Bro which position do u play and can u do a video on how to find your position on the pitch. it's very hard for me to know mine it's like as if am both a winger and a midfielder😅 can't tell
I play as a winger/outside forward but I have also played as a striker and even wing-back and full-back. I can definitely make a video on it, but at the same time you should know that the more versatile you are and the more positions you can play, the more reason the coach has to play you.

amazing video I play for a team locally but I think my skills during practice and some games are academy level but I don't have the money to play at a higher level
I understand and it’s a delicate situation 🤔 if you currently do not have the possibility to go, focus on what you control, improving your skills and knowledge of the game, and things may change and opportunities may present themselves in the future
I played football almost all of my childhood from the age of 10 to 17 as a goalkeeper and I was very good I was always the best in my school but I had a four years I stopped playing and Im overweight now unfortunately when I was young I never took football so serious it was just for fun and now I'm 17 I really want to be a pro player that's my dream and I'm working on it so hard I try my best all the time I really doubt my self a lot because I have a very long way especially with my family pressuring me to study all the time to become a doctor or something great...
But I really don't wanna go that boring direction.
I forgot to mention I switched my place from GK to CB I think Im better now on that position and I have the potential cuz I'm tall and strong and I know how to read players movement and tackle.

Unfortunately you can’t believe in miracles. If you don’t have an adequate football formation by 17, then it is too late. Think of all the 17 year olds right now, people YOUR age that are playing in club academies in every single country, and how some of THEM are not even making it pro. It’s ok to not go pro. You still have a right to enjoy football
@@gabe1277 that's not true. If you practice for hours a day. Like 10 or 12 hours you have a chance. Besides, you can start whenever. Drogba was at amateur football at first

I’m 20 but I have not had any formal club or experience playing professional football, I’m not the best but I know how to play decently but I have ever only played friendly games with an unofficial club a couple times with my friends, I don’t know what to do to make it to the pro leagues. I don’t have a good idea of what it looks like in Sydney, but try to search around both locally and on the internet. You should find some good sources like that 🙌

If you really want it, then give it your absolute best shot! I promise you, whatever happens, you won’t regret that you tried if that’s really what you want, but you will regret it if you didn’t
