    they are fixed? I cant find newest video about issue. I planned to change my fullframe sigma art 24-70 f2.8 with metabones xl to a smaller setup like sigma 18-35 f1.8 with 0.71x speedbooster and buy an rs2 but my ronin s still better. My sigma 24-70 can be a little bit better.

    I have blackmagic 4K, full cage with sigma 18-35 have a hard time putting the camera on pan axis, and after calibration, still enounter alot of vibration from motor. The baseplate screw keeps on rotating. Not to mention the tilt and low angle shot for cinematic is extremely difficult

    I have a pocket 6k 18-35 sigma and rs2 pro combo. I am having a hard time balancing it on the gimbal with a cage. tried the weight and it helped obviously but the issue I am running into still is when panning up the motors struggle and shut down. also there is a lean on the horizontal axis.

    • @BRDNKVision
      @BRDNKVision  Před 3 lety +1

      Motors struggle and shut down on RS2? Man, I think you made a mistake with balancing or settings. Cause motors are strong enough to handle C70 with heavy DZO 20-55 T2.8. I never had it shut down or struggle

    If you're prepared to carry the extra weight, the Crane 3s will balance a BMPCC4K with everything you could want attached. It took me about 15 min to balance mine and I've never had to rebalance it again.

    • @BRDNKVision
      @BRDNKVision  Před 3 lety

      I was thinking about 3s, but it's too huge and heavy, while RS2 is compact and lightweight and pretty powerful. I just hope it will be fixed with firmware. Will do also tests with dual handles and with C70 today

    • @AustralianImage
      @AustralianImage Před 3 lety +1

      @@BRDNKVision Big and heavy is an understatement, but my rig weighs 4.1kg with monitor, mic, battery adapter etc and I don't think any other gimbal would have coped. One thing to consider is to look at making your camera setup as rigid as possible to eliminate any sources of potential vibration. I have my lens locked down on a support with added zip ties, the monitor is on a very solid mount and all the cables are tied down. This ensures that nothing moves, as I suspect that it can be something as simple as that which can cause unwanted vibrations and balancing issues.

  • @findingefilm
    @findingefilm Před 3 lety +1

    I recently made the jump from blackmagic to Z Cam. one of my main reasons, was because I was sick an tired of the hassle of balancing that wide-ass camera on any gimbal! And along with that heavy lens, it introduces alot of problems. Not impossible, but time consuming and annoying. IMO

      Well, I just finished building my BM handheld setup, so not ready yet to switch to any other camera)) and I can not imagine my life without BRAW now) but yeah, there is a hassle in balancing BM on gimbals, but I'm an engineer by degree, so that's kinda challenging to me 😅

      Доброго времени суток. Да, с мозы на RS2. Сказать честно, RS2 сильно лучше мозы прям во всем, но вот качество стабилизации для меня под сомнением, если честно.
