- How a Manual Transmission Works
A demonstration of the basic principle behind a constant-mesh manual transmission. The animation is loosely based on Toyota's 5-speed R150, and the 3D model it is created from is available on Thingiverse at www.thingiverse.com/thing:377...
I hope that the video is helpful and instructive for some.
(Synchronizers are not covered here - for the sake of brevity and clarity)
For the first time I fully understand how a manual trans works, thank you!!
I'm high as a kite and somehow this made me cry in joy, thanks
Theres blueprints to make it on Solidworks?
🇮🇳 OK nice
The background music in front is really great. If possible, could you tell me what music it is? thank you
After watching so many videos of manual transmissions, I finally understand. Thank you very much for sharing
Terimakasih ini sangat bagus. Bolehkah saya mengunduh dan membagikan video anda. Saya dari indonesia
2 years ago i took a course and we had to 3d print a gear box i used your design and saw this video, it was my first time to understand anything in engineering after 3 years in the school, its amazing how can you've this impact on so many people, bc i was the team leader of more students just like me but we all ended up understanding the concept, thanks for you
This is such a good video.
This is really good. Thank you for the work you put into this Video. Now I'm not so intimidated if I ever need to do Transmission work!
Do not imagine the joy that overwhelms a person when he searches for something and does not find the answer he wants, he despairs and then suddenly finds the desired video 🏁🤜🏻🤛🏻🥷🏻
Best explication ever.. Bravo ✌
this is like the best explanation of how a manual transmission works that i've ever seen in my life!!!
Very good animation
Brilliant explanation, mate! Thanks very much. As another person pointed out, no music is cool :)
great animation!
This is the best illustration of a 4-speed gearbox I have ever seen!
Why are most of the gear teeth on a slant? It’s to reduce the noise from them engaging.
Thank you sir you helped me a lot, thank you again 🙏.
Very good animation, very easy to understand
