You're teammates are bad. They are spam pinging you, because they are bad. Ignore bad players. Follow saber's advice. Farm, push mid. take towers. While you're teammates are dying randomly in jungle you will be killing nexus because you went mid and enemy team didn't respond.
My biggest struggle is my team and I know that sounds like piss low crap but hear me out. more content like this please, great video, i think it would be great do sometime different series with different champions, like with different scenarios, when ur mid perma goes mid in midgame, playing or carrying in low elo when your team is behind/inting and such, more low elo content/educational content
I think the most frustrating part is when you take early turrets or go to catch a wave. Then your mid or jg comes to take all the cs. So then you go back to a different lane...and then they come and take the cs again, or refuse to rotate when you have the advantage.
Very good, thank you. I have a question regarding mid-game income acceleration. I usually struggle to maintain a good impact as adc between 2 and 3 items (e.g. not enough AS for a good uptime on Xayah/Sivir W, or not enough armor pen to threaten the frontline who has about 2 items as well), so I'm looking to minimize the time I spend at this powerlevel. At what point in the game is the adc entitled to farm jungle camps? I usually take everything after 2 items if my jungler is doing something on the other side of the map, but it sometimes annoys them a lot. Does it depend more on the jungler I have (supportive/tank or carry) or on how ahead/behind he is in the game? Or am I just griefing if I take anything more than red and occasional raptors from my jungler?
Take camps, if they get upset then don't take camps. Don't grief tempo/health/playmaking to take camps though, you do it when you have free time like team coming out of base and you didnt have a buy
Thank you for the video, Saber. I had a question involving Midgame pressure. How exactly do I get Midwave when I DON'T have access to my outplay tool (Galeforce on CD, Lucian E on CD, et cetera)? I often try to make a play with my Tempo only to get ambushed when I return to lane because I've exhausted all of my tools for self-peel.
If your top side loses but you end implementing this strategy effectively and it comes down to team fighting does it come down to which adc team fights better (mechanics) or you want to keep building a 10cs/min advantage until you have an advantage over enemy adc?
Bro you how do you do this with low range engage type adcs (kaisa, xayah, etc.)? depending on what your support is and what they do you might have trouble even hitting the minions let alone poking and pressuring

My experience is farming under tower and then being down in cs and some times being dove by the jungler or sometimes being 4 manned and that not counting the extreme poke you can take by the poke lane it self. What can I do as an adc to deal with this without having to depend on my support
you're guaranteed to go down in cs pretty much, but you don't have to be guaranteed to lose hp. Focus on preserving hp so that when a play comes (maybe sup finds engage/jg ganks/mid roams) you will be healthy enough to follow up and win. That doesn't mean afk and forgo cs, it means pretend to go for cs and dodge their poke to give yourself breathing room
The main reason why low elo players say "this isn't possible" is because they don't understand how to identify the mistakes of their own elo and how to abuse those. They are silver players playing in silver, gold in gold, plat in plat, and they would rather sit and complain about how the elo is doomed rather than working hard to implement habits to play like a smurf. Hint for low elo players: You are the rank you are. End of statement. To CLIMB, you have. to. be. better. than. your. current. rank. So if you're hard stuck, you're there for a reason. Work hard and change mental.
Love the content Saber! Only question I have is what do I do if I achieve what is said in the video, but by around 14mins (when you rotated to mid) the score is 2-21 and enemy jg+mid are ultra fed with their top having advantage? This is an every 7/10 - 8/10 games normal occurrence for me. My friends say I'm cursed to lose (they've seen this happen for years now), but I'm wondering if there is a way to win these games? Given that I am actually doing everything said in the video. Thanks!
they can't end unless you die, and eventually they'll troll and give up shutdown (this is gold no? but happens at every rank) your job is to make sure that possibility exists before you make a mistake
@@xFSNSaber So really it comes down to you not dying and hopefully can capitalize off of a throw. Got it. Will keep this in mind for my next games that will have this kind of score line. Thank you!
Love your content its helped me so much with Cait, but one thing is I can't dodge skill shots for shit. Could you make a video on how to dodge skill shots consistently? Would appreciate it a lot.
I'm not an expert but what I do is, I try to look for patterns in lane. People usually are always trying to skill shot you when you are going up for minons, so you bait them by pretending to go early and backing up. Also usually when you dodge a skill shot one way, usually they are looking for that same direction next time so don't do the same thing again. If the person is really good then I just give up and rush tier 2 boots cause then you have more ms to dodge.
Thoughts on playing mid adc. I have adc hands but I am a better mid laner because I played it so long. Rn I'm in the top 9% (from porofessor) of cser with tristana but stuck in gold
i dont know if its video worthy, but i find it hard to come back and grow lead if enemy jg or other lanes snowballs fast from a chaotic play. would i play the same as you do in the video, or safer to avoid ganks by focusing on vision more and freezing often? thanks
I had a game where i was playing cait bot lane in gold elo, after 20 mins of the game the enemy Zac top laner was hyper fed with 4k+ HP and 250 armor and the same for their seju jungle and im supposed to carry that where i die by shooting him alone from his thornmail
You should make an edit of the scene from Moneyball when they are picking who to draft and when Brad Pitt points to Jonah Hill, he says “he gets mid wave.”
"Aphelios decides to commit sudoku." I am not sure if that line was intentional for CZcams censoring or not but it was hilarious. Sudoku is a math puzzle for those who don't know... see 25:43 Other than the light roast, keep up the great content. I love your work.
I am now in phase 2. The difference in my games is while that team fight breaks out while i get mid, my team gets wiped in 2 seconds, then rage because i was getting cs and didnt come fight.
Sometimes it's better to go in the fight first, rather than getting the wave, ESPECIALLY if they don't listen to your pings, yo ufeel they are going to fight RIGHT NOW Because if u are there fighting you can win, if you are not there, then you are sure 100% to lose it! Ah if you feel the fight is lost in advance don't go for it, get the farm ^^' Who cares if they rage, flame , spam ping ? MUTE ALL, u carry, not monkeys.
Leading on from basing during cannon waves, what do you do if you start basing on the cannon and your support keeps pushing the wave, the cannon dies etc?
does the wave advice also apply to midlaners who swap bot? Like in the mid game should they shove the bot wave all the way to the tier 2 turret? What if they are unsafe going that deep? Or are midlaners not supposed to maximize their income as much as adcs after laneswapping because its more dangerous?
If your champ is good at side laning you might be able to go into their half but be mindful where your opponents are. if you play a mage with no mobility you can just shove waves on your half/ near tower and then rotate
But what if im going to catch sidelane wave and my whole team just randonly engage and dying? I know its like not my problem but i lose too much lp with situations like this.
That gold game is an entirely different reality from what I see in my games almost like 8 out of 10 when everyone starts play aram in whatever lane I rotate, most commonly mid -.-
Jajajaja. You're lucky. Most of the games I play wind up becoming episodes of Rambo as everyone will just fight in the River or Jungle because the play *looks good*.
How to play when it's a weak side? Is it worth building defensive items when you're strong? Instead of trying to build everything with damage to try to carry?
So if u were Aphelios at 18:16 what would u do? Just farm under tower bc mid gets shoved permanently and u lack vision? It just seems like you can't do anything and might as well push bot, praying Raka's healing can carry u in a 2v2 and hoping enemy jg is all farming in the meanwhile.
I thing I always find with videos like this is yeah sure it's nice seeing clean gameplay like this, but both the adc and support were super passive this game and so of course it's easier to show clean gameplay like this. I would find it refreshing to see a punishing low elo lane, like a jhin + xerath vs you or a Annie Caitlyn etc. Whatever I see a adc guide, they usually play something like a Caitlyn which is pretty easy to play clean in the early game, and it's vs a passive lane that probably got auto filled. Even in bronze games I've seen abauvoe lanes where you have a melee support and they slam you every time you try to cs, I would low to see how to lane I'm those kinds of games
ok, just wanted to add a comment here that says that this video is the gospel. legit am getting 8.5 to 10 cs per minute in most of my games since watching this one and the kai'sa video. even though I'm not smurfing in literally every game. (I'm not saber after all) But it really feels like a revelation. literally just fucking ignore the dumb shit your team does. and you just play an entirely different game than everyone else. I'm often flame horizon my opponent adc and it doesn't matter how bad lane goes or early mid game goes. TLDR, shove waves, then acquire elo and e girls.
What do I do if my support forces an engage because he THINKS we win the 2v2 when in fact we don't? Do I just stay back and let him die? And what if he just engages when we have no knowledge of where the Jungler is?
You should explain the opposing perspective. How do you play when you’re Alphelios? What’s the next play when the Caitlyn goes mid and has this lead? What are some ways to edge back small advantages before and after this point?
@@xFSNSaber how do you balance that goal with the other goal of still taking the bottom lane tower? In order to regain bottom map control for objective fights. After winning team fights or during champion resets in the mid game?
@@BadConeja if the enemy bot lane goes mid after taking your tower, your goal isn't really to take their bot tower it's to match enemy bot unless your mid is smurfing
@@xFSNSaber I just did this in my last match. Totally got me back in the game actually. My mid and I were the two best players in the lobby, but she (Akali) rotated bottom when I mirrored mid at level 9 (swapped to blue trinket as well). I only had 1 death at that point. I had a Vlad support and played into a Caitlyn + Swain bottom. I lost lane so fast it was 32 vs 12 cs at the start and my supp died so fast Swain was 6 and my supp was still 4. I was just patient and got a good root/ult on Swain under my tower to pick up a 450 bounty before the rotation happened. I would still rotate lanes after resets to get waves before returning to mid/fight locations. I picked up a couple more bounties as well and eventually got a 2 level lead on the enemy team. I always would focus on bottom control before this, I didn't understand the shifting goals after losing my tower and how to recover from a losing game state. Thank you. I also happened to play very well and land some amazing roots. One in particular was when Akali on 5% HP was being chased by Rengar R, I preemptively placed Q feathers (Xayah), ghosted and when I saw Rengar hit W+E for a quick root and follow up just as he hit my mid T2 tower. It was a flawless root and kill and saved Akali. During this game we only got one dragon and they had soul point with one cloud, a mountain and two chemtech. No elder spawned before we ended. We secured two barons. We didn't take a single rift herald. We won through mid lane with top and bottom T3 still up.
Dont wanna be "that" guy, but wouldve loved to see how to get out of a situation where enemy jungle camps your lane, your jungle is on farming spree whilist both your mid and top getting crushed in lane 1v1. By the time you get to 10 min mark you have to face 6/0 top and 5/0 mid with about 8-10csm each, obviously assuming you didnt straight out lose lane due to enemy ganks. Happens pretty frequently on eune gold elo.
I used Caitlyn because according to u.gg she is most played in Gold

Thank you!

Duuude, I just used the tips of this video and i instantly upped my gameplay wtf...
Rn I'm in the top 9% (from porofessor) of cser with tristana but stuck in gold
i dont know if its video worthy, but i find it hard to come back and grow lead if enemy jg or other lanes snowballs fast from a chaotic play. would i play the same as you do in the video, or safer to avoid ganks by focusing on vision more and freezing often? thanks
eg enemy mid is fed, you bait him to come bot and he gets nothing or dies, you have saved your midlaner
More content like this please!
Cait Jinx Ashe can I climb with my champions pool?
I had a game where i was playing cait bot lane in gold elo, after 20 mins of the game the enemy Zac top laner was hyper fed with 4k+ HP and 250 armor and the same for their seju jungle and im supposed to carry that where i die by shooting him alone from his thornmail
You have to stomp early. Use advantage of your big range of AA
Sudoku is a math puzzle for those who don't know... see 25:43
Other than the light roast, keep up the great content. I love your work.
beautiful video
I liked that video and would even watch an even longer one where you go more in depth. 1 Hour and longer
Saber you are a godsend to anyone wanting to improve at adc
o7
Very educational
Got any ezreal videos?
“Aphelios decides to commit sudoku”, lol
you should make a video about what the game plan is if you lose lane, (or do you deserve to lose after that)
catch all waves and play fights well
no hate this is a really informative video but how different are lanes where u dont have cait range
I am now in phase 2. The difference in my games is while that team fight breaks out while i get mid, my team gets wiped in 2 seconds, then rage because i was getting cs and didnt come fight.
Sometimes it's better to go in the fight first, rather than getting the wave, ESPECIALLY if they don't listen to your pings, yo ufeel they are going to fight RIGHT NOW
Because if u are there fighting you can win, if you are not there, then you are sure 100% to lose it!
Ah if you feel the fight is lost in advance don't go for it, get the farm ^^'
Who cares if they rage, flame , spam ping ? MUTE ALL, u carry, not monkeys.
Leading on from basing during cannon waves, what do you do if you start basing on the cannon and your support keeps pushing the wave, the cannon dies etc?
You ping that you're basing before you channel base, they won't randomly push if they know you're basing
@@xFSNSaber thanks saber!
please make more of these
does the wave advice also apply to midlaners who swap bot? Like in the mid game should they shove the bot wave all the way to the tier 2 turret? What if they are unsafe going that deep? Or are midlaners not supposed to maximize their income as much as adcs after laneswapping because its more dangerous?
If your champ is good at side laning you might be able to go into their half but be mindful where your opponents are. if you play a mage with no mobility you can just shove waves on your half/ near tower and then rotate
yes you still make 10cs a min as a midlaner unless you have something better to do (like guarantee kill on roam)
@@xFSNSaber do you have to shove until their tier 2 tower as a immobile mage?
Great vid, see you in Challenger
How do you not win the 2v2 as cait maokai?
I’m still trying to figure out the wave state of the jungler
But what if im going to catch sidelane wave and my whole team just randonly engage and dying? I know its like not my problem but i lose too much lp with situations like this.
not your fault, as long as you're getting your xp and gold you will find a good fight later in the game that will allow you to carry
Does this only work this well with cait?
That gold game is an entirely different reality from what I see in my games almost like 8 out of 10 when everyone starts play aram in whatever lane I rotate, most commonly mid -.-
Jajajaja. You're lucky. Most of the games I play wind up becoming episodes of Rambo as everyone will just fight in the River or Jungle because the play *looks good*.
played a game while listening to this and i didnt have the most kd but holy i was strong
best ad teacher
Can you do a similar video but with a KILL THE ADC enemy comp? I’m sure even in gold you could carry games like that or at least show what to do right
i ffing love this guy
how can i pressure with yuumi cait? o.o i was against ashe alistair bot :T or other hook/engage matchup
How to play when it's a weak side?
Is it worth building defensive items when you're strong? Instead of trying to build everything with damage to try to carry?
So if u were Aphelios at 18:16 what would u do? Just farm under tower bc mid gets shoved permanently and u lack vision? It just seems like you can't do anything and might as well push bot, praying Raka's healing can carry u in a 2v2 and hoping enemy jg is all farming in the meanwhile.
anything that doesn't involve inting into jg, for example fake base to make them push in, hide in bush, wait for jg to sit and then walk up ect
How does this concept apply to short ranged adc or if your out ranged
You can bait them into right clicking you, then back up thus pulling them out of position for your sup/minions/ jg punish
Does this work with lower ranger lane bullies? I play Lucian mostly
of course
What do I do if my support forces an engage because he THINKS we win the 2v2 when in fact we don't? Do I just stay back and let him die? And what if he just engages when we have no knowledge of where the Jungler is?
let him troll
I usually type early game "yo ima farm" and HOPEFULLY that tells your support what type of adc you are
@@xFSNSaber Gotcha. Just farm and screw whenever my support is inting
Use this as a Saber is the most underrated ADC content creator/coach on the internet button.

Could you do a vid vs an engage bot lane?
you should upload another that is strong lvl 1-3 and maintains their lead
You should explain the opposing perspective. How do you play when you’re Alphelios? What’s the next play when the Caitlyn goes mid and has this lead? What are some ways to edge back small advantages before and after this point?
Clear mid asap and try to trade with soraka heal on item spikes, make income and teamfight well
@@xFSNSaber how do you balance that goal with the other goal of still taking the bottom lane tower?
We won through mid lane with top and bottom T3 still up.
breh even if i go into a practice game and free farm without anyone contesting me or ever leaving lane i cant get 10cs a min xD
dont matter how well you play bot when mid and top go 0 and 8 in lane
Dont wanna be "that" guy, but wouldve loved to see how to get out of a situation where enemy jungle camps your lane, your jungle is on farming spree whilist both your mid and top getting crushed in lane 1v1. By the time you get to 10 min mark you have to face 6/0 top and 5/0 mid with about 8-10csm each, obviously assuming you didnt straight out lose lane due to enemy ganks.
Happens pretty frequently on eune gold elo.
