NATO's challenges in providing medical care in operational theatres (MEDICS/MEDwatch)

Providing medical care to soldiers in operational theatres is always a challenge. Despite the current level of care - better than ever before - NATO is continuously looking for improvement. As part of the NATO MEDICS project a capability called MEDwatch has been developed that will speed up and improve the processes, and so increases the level of care and chance on survival for a wounded soldier.
