      He is that beautiful, maybe a bit too beautiful to be Edward Fairfax Rochester. I saw this version when I was twenty and ever since then, when I think of Edward Rochester, I see him the most of all the other actors that played Rochester even if I'm tied between him and Michael Fassbender as my favourite. Although if I picture Edward in the book, I see him having Timothy Dalton's height, Michael's brooding expression and passionate tone, and the rest is all Toby. I wish I had my own Rochester that happens to look like him.

    The best Rochester ever with Timothy Dalton in 1983. All the others are forgettable.
