    The Doctors that carry out these procedures should be held responsible for irresponsible practices. Clearly the girls that go too far and look deformed have body dysmorphia and need counselling not more procedures. Thank goodness Mollie was able to reverse the effect, she is so naturally beautiful its not needed

    • @krgxo
      @krgxo Pƙed rokem

      People can do what they want with their bodies. Just because you think it looks strange doesn’t mean they need to stop doing it if they want it. In some cases it can really balance out your face and make it look much better. I agree that when it goes too far they should question it, but to say that professionals should stop doing these procedures is ridiculous. Botox for example is used for lots of different purposes, not just cosmetic reasons. Il

    • @lx2495
      @lx2495 Pƙed rokem +1

      Yes unfortunately. Natural lips have a sort of natural wrinkle to them. Even full natural lips have wrinkles and do not look plumped up. That’s not how facial anatomy works. Smooth, plump lips are supposedly the beauty standard and is exactly what lip fillers achieve, but it is inherently this that makes them look unnatural.

  • @Magickfae

    I have a different take that I am not ashamed of. I don't think anyone should get filler. One thing I am glad that I learned when I was really young was that regardless of how you look there will ALWAYS be someone in the world that loves you and how you look. These lip fillers literally make everyone look the same. Plus.. what does that say about how you love yourself? I am a woman and nothing is more attractive to me than peoples lips.. yet I see so many people feel the need to make them bigger and it makes me want to cry because I think they are soooo beautiful!! It's a strange world we live in. But we all need to sit up tall and start loving all parts of ourselves and stop giving so many shits about everyone else.

    • @oakillllll
      @oakillllll Pƙed rokem +10

      Bad take. We only get one life. If someone is unhappy with something, they have the money to change it and they're a grown adult with a fully developed frontal lobe, they don't deserve your judgement for changing *their* body. You really shouldn't equate someone wanting to alter something about their appearance with how much they love themselves. Do I hate myself if I get a haircut? If I get my nails painted? If I straighten my teeth? It's so weird to care about how much other people like their physical appearance. Judging people for wanting to remedy their insecurities - as if being insecure isn't a part of the human experience.

    • @Magickfae
      @Magickfae Pƙed rokem +2

      @@oakillllll and I really can equate people injecting and changing themselves to loving themselves. If you love your mother.. would you need her to change the way her face looks? No you will just love her.. period. The same thing with ourselves. There is some type of feeling you have towards how you look that you don't like.. and so you change it. Yes every one has a decision to make and it is up to them and nothing I say is going to change that.. trust me. And I have a right to speak my mind. I personally believe people change how they look because a part of them however big or small does not like = which means they don't love themselves

    • @oakillllll
      @oakillllll Pƙed rokem +6

      @@Magickfae That makes no sense. If I love my mother, would I need her to change her face? I don't live with her face, she does. I would love and respect her if she did or didn't change herself. You can find yourself interesting, funny, intelligent, and loving and still want to alter some part of your physical being so that you're more comfortable/confident. The problem is people like you, that look too deeply into people's decisions that don't effect you whatsoever. Live and let live. Strongly recommend practicing minding your own business - in my own opinion, only people that don't love themselves care about the choices that others make.

    I’m sorry I can’t take people seriously when they talk about how the use of fillers is unhealthy to them and perpetuates an unrealistic ideal of beauty to themselves and their followers but at the same time say that it made them happy/they support other people that do it to make them happy, they done care etc. you can’t say both!!
    Not everything that makes people *happy* is good for them!!! Some people are influenced by celebs to change their features and they think it makes them happy, but really they’re contributing to this problem. It’s a cycle that will never end if we always support people changing their natural features to conform to a beauty standard. I do not support people getting fillers or plastic surgery, I don’t care if it makes them happy. They *are* unequivocally contributing to unhealthy and unrealistic beauty standards and influencing young girls.
