    I have it and it’s very good to my opinion. I like the zoom, the size, performance to keep the face color. Works great with Duracell battery. It has all the filters. I like the rotation for fast horizontal and vertical and keeping the settings. It is lightweight. Works great with a7c. Too bad the a7c has limited flash sync (1/160), but with a1 you get the max speed (1/400). Of course tou can use higher speed up to 1/8000 with HSS. I also use an KF ND 2-400 to replace HSS which use more power and launch multiple flash. But HSS works great.
    Solid flash more solid than Godox and fully compatible with face detection. I like the 4 battery, as i can charge them and replace easily without worrying about finding lithium replacement, which could be impossible to find in futur. You will always find Duracell AA battery.

    nice review. I just purchased this rm2 version for a7rv and atached directly a magmod maggrip2 on it an dmagsphere2. sometimes a7rv displays a message i have a accessory not compatible so i suppose it is magmod product. Now seing this magnet, i am wondering if the strong magnets of magmod, even on sides, wouldn't be the cause, radiating to the magnet spot inside hvl. What do you think ? forbidden to use magmod on sony flashes ?

    • @raduchereches5882
      @raduchereches5882  Před 6 měsíci

      I can't say it's forbidden... but the magnet certainly does its job, not necessarily irradiating but facilitating a contact... which seems not good...
      I don't use the MagSphere II .... it probably fits the round flashes. It is possible that the round flashes have that magnet elsewhere and that does not prevent the use of the MagSphere II.
      Try or search, maybe you can find a rubber adapter for this MagSphere II... from what I see on CZcams, it can be attached to any flash even in the studio... so there is definitely an adapter for the MagSphere II...
      In this clip I see that there is such an adapter:

    Radu, would it be possible to share the dimensions in cm ? I am especially interested in length when fully extended , dimensions of the main lower part (where batteries go in)and also dimensions of the larger part . I am trying to understand if this would fit in my camera bag or I have to buy another. if you have the Sony HVL-F45/6RM it would be amazing if you could share the same. Multumesc frumos

      Orice alte intrebari va ajut cu mare placere...folosesc acest Blitz de mai bine de 1an , in fiecare weekend si uneori chiar si in timpul saptamanii....ca sa va faceti o idee , la fiecare sesiune trag peste 2000 de fotografii din care cel putin 1500 sunt cu acest blitz....un lucru important de observat ar fi incalzirea blitzului, vad foarte des pe cluburile foto ca se plange lumea de el ptr ca se incalzeste....am si experimentat acest lucru - da , se incalzeste dar cu un iso de 50 si f22 + S:1/8000s . Este de necrezut ce caldura degaja blitul cu aceste setari , de ce ? - ptr ca fiind in modul HSS auto el isi face reglajele in functie de setarile din Body - credeti-ma fotografia la aceste setari absurde o fost foarte bine iluminata insa blitul a fost atat de cald incat daca stai aplecat deasupra lui vei simti o caldura foarte puternica pe fata....tragand peste 80 si 100 de cadre cu aceste setari mi-a aparut pe blit iconita cu "overheating".... Repet, aceste setari sunt absurde si nu le veti folosi niciodata la fotografia de eveniment....La evenimente daca ajustam corect ISO , S si F va asigur ca puteti fotografia in rafele chiar si de 10fps. iar blit-ul nu se va incalzi - veti putea trage lejer intre 700 si chiar 1000 de fotoografii cu un set de baterii alkaline (in cazul meu Duracel)
      Translated in English :
      Any other questions, I'll be happy to help you...I've been using this Blitz for more than 1 year, every weekend and sometimes even during the week....to give you an idea, at each session I take over 2000 photos from which at least 1500 are with this flash....an important thing to notice would be the heating of the flash, I see very often on photo clubs that people complain about it because it heats up....I also experienced this - yes, it gets hot but with an iso of 50 and f22 + S:1/8000s. It is unbelievable how much heat the flash emits with these settings, why? - because it is in auto HSS mode, it makes its adjustments according to the settings in Body - believe me, the photo with these absurd settings was very well lit, but the flash was so hot that if you are bent over it, you will feel very hot strong on the face....shooting over 80 and 100 frames with these settings, the "overheating" icon appeared on my flash....I repeat, these settings are absurd and you will never use them for event photography.. ..At events, if we adjust the ISO, S and F correctly, I assure you that you can shoot in bursts even at 10fps. and the flash will not heat up - you will be able to easily take between 700 and even 1000 photos with a set of alkaline batteries (in my case Duracel)

      I still don't have a remote trigger...and I haven't even tried the remote trigger....but I know it's a type of flash that communicates by radio at a distance....just the settings and the pairing between the flash will have to be done and trigger.

      Hi !,
      You will be able to use the "MAGMOD Starter Flash Kit" only if this kit does not have that small magnet that I was talking about in the video.....if this kit is attached only in the simple way, by clicking, then it will not affect the flash settings, but if it has that little magnet will then clearly affect the flash settings...honestly I don't use the "MAGMOD Starter Flash Kit...I'm really curious if it would also work on the "Sony HVL-F60RM2" flash.
      Thank you for watching and for paying attention to the video material presented!

    Anyone able to get ATG AF assist beam to work on mirrorless? Currently the ATG's Gold speedlites are compatible.
