- Meet Mansukhbhai Prajapati, the innovator of an eco-friendly clay refrigerator that can run without electricity.
When Mansukhbhai suffered severe losses during the 2001 Gujarat earthquake, he invented 'Mitticool, a natural refrigerator made primarily from clay to store vegetables, fruits, milk, and also for cooling water.

This is much needed in Indian context to adapt to climate change for a while before we reach state of reducing it
Aren't clay pot coolers not already very common traditionally? Also they are not magic. Processed food will still spoil in them, since they don't cool very strongly. Also they only work in hot climates with very dry air.
