Nah friend just get them but also be careful though because sometimes on straight or wavy hair if it’s too tight it can rip it out because of the tension and the pulling but other than that I would say just get them if you really like them and the way they look also that would not make you racist because as you said again your just getting them because you think they are cute and you like the way they look which I personally see nothing wrong with :)
