Yep since last post, I have gotten up on one wheel more than a few times, you're right as I was trying to pull it up at too high of a speed. Just under 10mph and cut loose of the clutch and up she went. Yep these dudes are insane.
Ok...I'm kind of new the harley thing. Got a 1200 CC Harley 48, did a stage one, sert, s.e. a/c, vance and hines comp. 2 into 1. Please tell me my bike has hope of pulling off a wheelie someday provided I get the skills to do one?
Yeah not to worried about the "man enough" part, my question was directed on if you need a special clutch, or modification. If you have seen 883's pull it off were they stock bikes? That is certainly encouraging but I don't want to damage my ride. I used to do them all the time on my old Ninja, but that's a different set up entirely.

did the crotch rocket thing. been there crashed that. looking to get a harley but my days of doing wheelies is not over.... what bike do you suggest? from the lower end of the price spectrum. thanks
Intake and exhaust. Other than that pretty much stock. I can get the front wheel off the ground and I mean barely with my 883 and I've got some shitty straight pipes and a blown head gasket on the rear cylinder and I hardly know what I'm doing. Heck I've seen guys who don't know what they're doing pull wheelies on a sporty and flip the bitch. It's possible. But of course anything to help performance wise is gonna make it easier.
how do I do this I have the exact same set up ! do they have big HP or just lots of clutch?/ I have a 02 dyna 95" kit, thunder header and other mods it will pick up but not that high or long

I run a chain because it is stronger and if you snap it the master link in your pocket is a quick fix.
I think I need a new clutch and some carb work mine Isnt snappy enough for that but appreciate the advice...hope to post a video soon

Yes at least a Barnett or a comp clutch is good, but throttle, let off so the suspension compresses, when it starts to decompress throttle hard.
I think Kade Gates does this shit on a stock 883 with only intake and exhaust mods
