I survived, albeit with injuries I still suffer from today. My Fiancée did not. The Drunk that hit us was on his 8th or 9th DUI. Even the cops weren't sure. This type of thing doesn't just go away. You learn to live with it.

Yes. Morgan didn’t know about Reid’s mother until Reid said that she was a paranoid schizophrenic. There’s no telling if Hotch knew or not as his reaction seems to hint that he also didn’t know that Diana Reid has schizophrenia.
This was the first time they were finding out the first person to know was Garcia when Reid was on the phone with the agents in New Jersey that episode asking them to pick up her mother he mentioned that she was at a mental hospital so that’s when Garcia relized that his mother was not great but she does not know exactly what she has

I love Reid's reactions. Perfectly matched with his role with not a single over-reaction. He's playing so very normal, that's the reason he is so beloved to the audience.
The most impressive thing here is the dive he did at the end. Most of the time people would just focus on running. He was intelligent enough to know that the bombs explosion radius would drive swiftly up after a certain point since heat rises, so he dived and pulled all his limbs close to himself to achieve maximum possible protection from the explosion.
When you realize they probably wouldn’t have gotten to this point at all if it wasn’t for Reid, he was literally like the only one who really figured everything out (Garcia helped too) but it was mostly Reid.
Reid is a submissive personality but the first thing he did was give up his gun, went towards a prep against instructions, and continued to speak even knowing he had a bomb. Then told everyone to run even after the bomb was set off
Damn, Reid hass a terrible habit of puting himself in these situations. I love Morgan and Hotch's reactions when he just hands off his gun and walks off ;-)
