This is one of the many Sylvers songs that I like. Yes it is a funky dance track. The harmony is bad ass, too. I'm sorry, the Sylvers can sing their behinds off. 😊
@WayneInSF Thanks Wayne...this is around the time, to me, that James and Leon sometimes could often be mistaken...although Leon's voice is most distinctive to me.
That's Leon on lead. [Remember, the entire "Forever Yours" LP was recorded in early 1978, before Leon left the group.] James did the funky voice in the middle. At least he lip-synced the same voice when they performed "Come Dance With Me" on TV back in the day. Leon also leads on "Don't Stop, Get Off" (with Edmund), this track, and "Come on Down to My House" on the "Forever Yours" LP.
