அருமையான டைரக்டர். மென்மையான படங்கள் தந்தவர். கோவைத்தம்பி+ரங்கராஜ்+இளையராஜா இதுதான் மிக சிறந்த கூட்டணியாக இருந்தது. வெற்றி பட டைரக்டர்.ஆர் சுந்தராஜனுக்கு அடுத்து இவர் தான் அப்படி பட்ட படங்களை கொடுத்தவர்
"உதய கீதம்" படத்திலுள்ள கவுண்டமணி பேச்ர வசனம் எல்லாம் சமூகதெ நகைச்சுவை எங்கிற சாட்டயால அடிக்கிறது மிகவும் நன்றாக இருந்தது . அந்த வசனம் எல்லாம் எழுதியதுக்க நன்றியே தெருவித்து கொள்கிரோம். நன்றி.நன்றி.நன்றி.
Chinna vayasula thoongum bodhu appa gets me to sleep over his chest by singing Thaney Thenpaandi meeney. As I was away from my family now, every time I miss my dad Thaney Thenpaandi comes to my mind. One day I was taking bath and can't able to control my tears while listening to Thaney Thenpaandi Meeney. Not sure why this is complicated these days. In old days a tape recorder is enough. Malaiyoram Veesum Kaatru, Kanney Kalaimaney, Thaney Thenpaandi Meeney, Thooliyile Aada Vandhean. Life is beautiful!

Wow... One of the best interview I just watched. This video has to be shown to upcoming directors and also any technicians in film industry. He retired like a cricket player, rather than still believing he can achieve at a big screen. move to the small screen and other talk shows, you should have the good long-term plan and matured mind thinking. The content of the interview was amazing and thanks to The Hindu for showing such hidden talents living with us.
LOVE all the songs in his movies! "Udaya geetham paaduven" - song of agony. Thank God, they didn't go for a "fast" paced song instead of that one! Also, Paadu nilaave & Thene thenpaandi meene. Adore "Devan thandha veenai" song VERY MUCH - all 3 versions - based on the original song from Kannada movie "Geetha - "Nanna Jeeva Neenu" composed by The Maestro. HATS OFF to you for shooting your movies decently. (Nethiyadi!) from 21:00 - You NAILED all the points down

A very notable director during my school and college days. His movies reflect his personality - soft spoken, gentle, mild mannerred. Mr. Rangarajan, Ilayaraja and Kovai thambi combination is a successful one.
Among those rough and tumble action movies, your movue and songs wafted like a gentle breeze.
The songs from this combo will live forever.
Another thing I noted is he has a special liking for hill stations ...unnai naan santhithen, Geethanjali, nenjamellam neye, kanna unai thedukiren vaa... all have scenic hill station back grounds...
During those days in oliuym olium, vividhbarathi and in all college hostel rooms... your songs will be played often.
